This quaint 3-bedroom farmhouse, beautifully renovated with a serious nod to yesteryear and showcasing a stunning restoration, is the perfect getaway for a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of town living.
Hart Cottage located in the superb Indigo Valley and will take you on a journey back in time, offering guests a genuine farm stay experience.
The serenity will envelope you and you will truly unwind the stresses of the city enjoying the country peace and quiet and soak up the beauty this region has to offer.
The sunrises and sunsets are incredible, and an endless star filled night sky is a must to experience.
Comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests, Hart Cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen, Euro Laundry and exquisite Bathroom. Beautiful quality linen is provided and the comfiest of beds are on offer. Generous Living Room with ornate fireplace and so much character.
Views will delight from each room of the surrounding landscape too.
This region boasts a rich history and is dotted with preserved beautiful towns, natural attractions, superb food, wine and craft beer and nature pursuits such as cycling and walking.
Only a 3 hour drive north of Melbourne and nearby towns Chiltern and Barnawartha 10 minutes, Yackandandah 15 minutes, Beechworth and the historical Rutherglen Wine Region only a 25 minute drive away.
2 minutes by car or short walk to Mt Pilot National Park for a spot of bird watching or other native animals. So much to explore and see and do.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire house, surrounding gardens and fire pit.
2 x car undercover parking offered with ample space for additional parking.
Pets only permitted on approval with owner.

- Check in time: After 3pm : Check out time: 10 am.
Self Check-IN: This property is Self-Check In. Be sure to read the Self-Check In instructions carefully and contact us anytime if you have any problem finding the location.
The check-in instruction will be sent to you at Midday on the day of your arrival.
Wifi: Whilst we do anticipate WiFi will be available during your stay, it is not guaranteed. WiFi availability is dependent on the network provider.

Cleaning: For any cleaning issues, we ask that you report any concern within 24hrs of arrival to the office. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Loss OF Keys: Once you checked in the keys and access devices are your responsibility. Charges will apply for loss of key/access devices. If you get locked out of the house, you will be charged $100 for attending the house and unlocking the door (or you can call a local locksmith).

Owners have done a great job refurbishing the farmhouse. Location is very clean and well appointed. The location is great for easy access to surrounding areas including Rutherglen, Beechworth, Myrtleford and Bright. Property is very peaceful and relaxing. Great adventure into country Australia.

This refurbished cottage was a fantastic find for our weekend away in the Rutherglen region. All the little details were thought of in this warm and welcoming home. Communication was easy with the hosts and they responded when we required them. We are already planning a return!

What a beautifully appointed & restored property
3 large bedrooms & the biggest bathroom we’ve ever seen. Very spacious & luxurious & room enough for a couple of people at a time if need be.
What a magical piece of paradise to stay rest recover & totally relax
We especially enjoyed the house as a base for touring the region which was so delightful & the locals so welcoming & knowledgeable about each area - we learnt so much so thank you as your hospitality was much appreciated.
1 week was not long enough & we are sad to leave heading back to Sydney & Melbourne but will definitely be back.
