A 2,200 sq. ft two-story ranch house plus the first MÖÖN House open to the public anywhere, side by side on private land in Coldspring, Texas, about 10 minutes from Lake Livingston and the Sam Houston National Forest. When you book this listing, no one else is booked at either one, so your group gets full privacy.
This is the one for family reunions, friend getaways, milestone birthdays, and anniversary trips. Everyone is together, and one couple still gets the glass house to themselves.

The MÖÖN House (sleeps 2): a one-of-a-kind glass-walled design from ÖÖD House.

30-ft floor-to-ceiling windows with forest views
Oversized king bed in the downstairs primary bedroom, with luxury linens and a private bath
Whataburger Room (upstairs): 2 queen memory foam beds, private bath, Texas-themed décor
Houston Astros Room (upstairs): queen memory foam bed, private bath
Jack & Jill Bedroom (upstairs): queen bed, no bathroom inside. It sits between the Whataburger and Astros rooms and is reached only through one of them.
Massive kitchen with 2 ovens, 2 sinks, a dining table that seats 8+, bar seating, and a fully stocked cookware and coffee/tea station
Oversized laundry room with essentials provided
Grown-up game room in the entryway with arcade games, dartboards, and lounge seating

The walls are windows. Morning light comes in low across the treeline, and after dark the glass falls away and you're left with the sky. The site is fully fenced, and there are curtains throughout for whenever you want them closed.

Our stay was one to remember. Having meals with family and enjoying wonderful memories in such a beautiful home. The host was very kind and helpful with every need from check in to the time we left. We enjoyed the peacefulness around the property along with the scenery of nature.Our dogs constantly wanted to run around the yard. We really loved our stay and hope to go back one day.
