About this house rental
Elipa house is a lovingly renovated and comfortable two bedroom cottage with great facilities, plenty of space and fabulous 180 degree views from the 3 sided deck. Located in a fantastic secluded position surrounded by unspoilt nature on the edge of a charming authentic alpine village with an abundance of beautiful walking and biking trails locally, 10 mins drive to Krvavec mountain & ski resort, 15 minutes to Ljubljana airport and the beautiful medieval town of Kamnik and just half an hour to Ljubljana and Lake Bled, A fantastic place to relax and recharge your batteries in nature or to explore the Bled, Ljubljana & Krvavec areas from one convenient base.
Elipa house has been painstakingly renovated to create a charming comfortable holiday house where you will be just as happy relaxing on the terraces or garden soaking in the view as you will in exploring the local area. The house has no immediate neighbours so have a wonderful feeling of privacy, surrounded by trees, forests, pastures and wonderful views wherever you look. On the ground floor an entry area leads to the open plan living room - dining room - and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The living room has a fntastic traditional farmhouse ceramic stove which keeps the whole house warm in Winter, from the living room you can exit onto the beautiful 3 sided wooden terrace with covered outdoor dining table, outdoor seating and magnificent views over the Ljubljana basin, the Skofja Loka hills and stretching 100km South to Mount Sneznik on clear days. In the loft are 2 double bedrooms each with access to a lovely glass fenced balcony and spacious bathroom with walk in shower.
In the basement is additional bathroom with washer and dryer, social room with some kids toys and a table tennis room. The garden surrounds the house and is a great space for kids to play and explore whilst parents enjoy the terrace overlooking it.

This is easily the nicest place I have booked on this platform so far. It's so special, it even makes you feel a little special yourself. ;-)
A clean and tasteful interior, everything you need to live, cook, play and hang, and the nicest landlords you could hope for.
Elipa House's position on the map makes it a perfect base for day trips, e.g. to Ljubljana, Bled and Postojna. At the same time, you get to enjoy the beautiful silence of this small mountain village in the evenings.
And in the morning, you get up, step onto the glass-only-braced balcony, let your gaze wander across a large part of Slovenia, watch the squirrels scurry through the trees below and thank whomever you feel obliged to for the privilege of being able to travel the world.
That view just never gets old.
