Explore all the natural beauty and history of Cape Ann: Gloucester, Rockport, Essex and Manchester within a short drive and without the traffic of Cape Cod!!.Take a rainy day train ride, along the picturesque North Shore, to experience the amazing old history of Salem & Boston. A real New England Classic Summah beach cottage for your summer family vacation!! Grey Beach (a.k.a. Magnolia Beach is a mixed availability beach w/the East end public for your use to sit, swim, kayak, etc.)

John was an amazing host. Very friendly and informative. Super easy to reach anytime there was any kind of question. The house is beautiful and very close to the beach. There were 5 of us and we didn't feel at all cramped or inconvenienced. Very quiet, safe, peaceful neighborhood as well. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming. We had never been that far north and it was a very nice experience! Definitely check into this property if you're interested in this area!

Quiet location. Quick drive to several towns and beaches. The house was very clean. John was a great host and easy to get a hold of.

Open, bright and clean house with a great location a 5 min walk from the beach. The wrap-around porch was lovely for to sitting out. John was very responsive and checked in during my stay to see how everything was. Would definitely stay again!

This is the best property owner I’ve ever encountered. He was totally responsive to us before we arrived based on numerous travel difficulties that had nothing to do with him. He’s a tremendous human being. The house looks amazing and the location is awesome, whether you want to in the city or away from it for a while. We are going to rent again from John in 2026, so stay away from the week we book! ;)
