It's hard to imagine a more peaceful location so close to the city. It is a truly beautiful and secluded spot, perfect stayOne note to digital nomads is while the Internet is fast, it is high altitude satellite with high latency, which can make video calls challenging.Awesome location, great and comfortable home, and fantastic hosts. Highly recommended!

The photos of this listing were slightly misleading. We were looking forward to using the hot tub while staying at this “charming” country retreat, however the hot tub was not operational; mind you there weren’t any instructions to double check the hot tub prior to use or for how to troubleshoot in the event that it is not. There were cobwebs in the corner of several of the rooms and it didn’t have a fire extinguisher or any pans to cook with other than teflon. The beds were comfortable, and the town of McKinney was the charming aspect of this visit, and the host was responsive.
