About this apartment rental

Refurbished throughout, this 1 bedroom 1st floor apartment offers fantastic sea views and stunning scenery. The light, spacious lounge opens into a double-glazed sun-room and outside balcony and is comfortably furnished with a 3- seater click-clack sofa bed which opens to a double bed for extra accommodation.

The apartment is accessed via a spiral staircase from the car park, or a straight staircase at the front of the building which leads straight on to the esplanade.

West Bay is a popular seaside destination with a picturesque harbour, close by to Bridport, a bustling market town in the county of Dorset. There are many food and drink outlets, local ice creams and award-winning fish restaurants. It was the setting for the popular TV series Broadchurch.

Very quiet, spacious and well equipped. What made it special was the sun room with views of the sea and the waves crashing onto the rocks. Also there were nice touches such as quality towels, throws, a welcome pack etc. The parking in the garage was tight (we have a medium size car, a C3 Citroen) and difficult to reverse due to a resident’s large vehicle being parked. I hate 1960’s architecture, but the walls were thick and you heard no noise whatsoever. For my taste, it was too cluttered. I would remove half of the decorative items including the pictures. There was too much crockery and glasses etc. always frightened to break something as no space to put things. There were three teapots and three salt and pepper pots.

We had a lovely trip to West Bay and the apartment was perfect, really clean and in a great location. There were lots of nice touches like games, milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the apartment as it is a lot bigger than we thought from the images, also the bed was extremely comfortable!

Fabulous location, just yards from the beach. Lots of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance.The flat was beautifully clean, spacious and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.So many beautiful walks on the doorstep!We had a lovely stay.

We werent familiar with this area but we were happy when we arrived as we were so close to everything.There is a small balcony out the back with a view of the sea. We could see the park dean resort out off the window wich had swimming and other facilities open to the public.My wife and i stayed with our 2 year old daughter, they had made a bed up for us in the lounge which was nice. We did use a travel cot beside our bed though, so we werent going to bed at toddler times.It was clean and the kitchen was well equipt.We had a great stay and the host seemed very helpful

We stayed over a long weekend so I could participate in the Ultra Challenge event and see a little bit of the local area. The weather was good and we had an enjoyable stay. The location is West Bay was ideal for our needs as well as being quiet so restful as well.

we came friday after noon the flat was easy to find we had a lovely time the flat was lovely the sea veiw fabulous clean light and lovely and warm and even the weather was good westbay is a joy and my ageing mother and german shepard was happy

Lovely flat, much bigger than it appears in the photos. Outside of the block looks a little tired, but inside was lovely. Comfy bed and sofa and little patio and sunroom area great for watching the world go by on the seafront. Parking space was very handy. Only a few moments walk to beach .ancouplcouple cpuple

the apartment was very pleasant to stay in, the beach area was lovely, lots of places to visit with wonderful views, I am a artist and this part of the world is a painters Paradise. The only downside for my husband and I was the outside patio area. The seagulls nest on the flat roofs, this is lovely to see, but not the mess they leave, this was not so good, and quite off putting as we couldn't sit outside. If possible could you let the owner know that we mistakenly took some of there hangers home and would she like me to post some new ones to her address. Kind regards Jean Powell-Riley
