About this villa rental
LA MAISON MANATI: In a still preserved area, "La Maison Manati" is a sea-front villa, facing south and ideally located between the lagoon and the jungle.
The access to the turquoise water is protected by the coral reef, which will allow you to swim and snorkel safely inside the lagoon (unlike ocean front villas).
Important: Thanks to our orientation, we have NO SARGASSUM SEAWEED (or very little in few occasions), which makes our place very rare and consequently very valuable!
After 60 feet of coral plateau, you will find an infinite sandy bottom, punctuated by coral potatoes where tropical fishes do nest in shallow waters...
This 650 m2 construction, commissioned by a French man and completed in October 2017 by a talented European architect, is unique by its spectacular organic shapes, inspired by both Zaha Hadid and Luis Barragan.
LA MAISON MANATI offers an exceptional 360 degrees panoramic view from its ROOFTOP terrace, ideal for having an aperitif at sunset around the JACUZZI (heated from 5.00 pm to midnight)! The breathtaking panorama is overlooking the lagoon, the open sea and the jungle, where birds of all kinds are flitting.
The villa has its own private sandy beach frontage, where you will come across turtles, pellicans, and other extraordinary animals.
The SWIMMING POOL is overflowing, with a direct view over the sandy beach and the lagoon. It offers 2 level of depth, a glass window and is lighted at night with the color of your choice.
On each side, you will enjoy a real botanical garden, preserving your intimacy towards the neighbors.
2 double kayaks + 2 single kayaks + 2 paddle boards are put at your disposal.
So that your stay is ideal, you can also enjoy a CINEMA ROOM equipped with a giant 4K screen and Apple TV + a fully equipped FITNESS ROOM.
Immaculate white, the design of "La Maison Manati" is enhanced by a decoration with colorful Mexican handcrafts, which gives a cheerfulness and a local accent, perfectly adapted to the region.
6 spacious bedrooms can accommodate from 12 to 14 people (14 if with children).
The master-suite spreads over 70 m2 with a beautiful view ... Just opposite, you can see in a distance the famous mayan ruins of Tulum.
The bedding and linen are of the highest quality, each room having a unique design, a refined decoration, and nice views. Bath and beach towels and shower products are provided.
A TALENTED CHEF is part of our permanent staff and is fully included in our rates.
If more than 8 guests, a Chef assistant will also be put at your disposal.
Chef Juan does the grocery shopping for you. You will reimburse him based on tickets. He will contact you a few days prior to your arrival to get your requests. He has money in advance to buy everything you wish to have already at the villa for your arrival.
No grocery shopping and no cooking: this makes the stay of groups and families so pleasant and relaxing at LA MAISON MANATI!
A couple of caretakers live on site and will do everything possible to make your stay unforgettable, taking care of maintenance and housekeeping permanently.
Less than 1500 feet from the house, you will find a scuba-diving club, the beautiful "Cenote Manati" (or "Casa Cenote") and restaurants.
Nearby you can also enjoy Tulum golf course, many of the most famous Yucatan Cenotes ("Dos Ojos" is next door!), famous sites such as Xel Ha and Akumal and several adventure parks.
You will not miss visiting the famous Maya ruins of Tulum (10' drive) and Coba (45'drive), the Tulum Beach and all its fashionable clubs and restaurants, the Sian Ka'an Reserve (classified as World Heritage by UNESCO), and the tumultuous Playa del Carmen (40' drive).

I invited eight friends and family members to stay at this amazing property to celebrate my birthday. We had such an incredible time that I fear other vacations will pale in comparison. The kind and attentive house staff made the whole experience truly unforgettable - the food was to die for.

The prepared meals and house staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating.The house and property were very nice. Local attractions were many and touring around Tulum was fun. The Cenotes and Mayan Ruins are a must see. Thanks for letting us stay.Roetto Family

We had a 60th Birthday Celebration with a total of 6 people. Plenty of room for everyone! The grounds and housekeepers were very efficient each day, even raking the beach area each morning. Juan and Daniel carefully prepared each meal with a wide variety of dishes and nearly every meal had a fresh juice. We had total trust in them to handle the shopping for us which was so nice. They made our birthday celebration special with a traditional Mexican cake.
I would suggest you take some insulated drink cups, if possible. Cups there are glass or plastic. We had no issues with water and they kept us well supplied in bottled waters. Plus they have a 5gallon jug to use. The roof top was a great space too, the hot top was so nice and the sunsets were spectacular!
There is a bonus 1/2 bath too on the main floor with easy access from the pool too.

Fantastic 5 day trip . We were a group of 13. Three generations and 5 children 7 and under.
The House: Beautiful! AC and Internet worked great! We spent a lot of time in the pool as opposed to the ocean as it can be tricky to navigate, however when we did the snorkling was great right there off the property, and so much to see on the beah for the kids. Shells, pretty pieces of coral, sand dollars, star fish. There are sea urchins so make sure you do follow the advise and wear water shoes. Kayaking was great for those in our group that took them out.

This is the feather in the cap of this property. Everyone was so great!
The grounds keepers Jessica and Alberto were so nice and helped with extra beach towels when we wanted to go on excursions, were up bright and early cleaning all the oommon areas, pool and beach. They even brought all the kids coconuts one day in the pool that they perpared with straws. Kids (this was all their first trip out of the country) thought it was so neat.
Chef Juan and his assistant. WOW, just WOW. All meals were over the top. Prompting applause from our group more than once. Kids thought that was a hoot! One child that has dietary restirctions. She has to be glutten and diary free and EVERY MEAL he had a "version" prepared for her. Even made glutten free churos for everyone that were fantastic. It was so great that she didn't feel "different".
Absolutely reccomend this home! 5 stars all the way around.
