Luxury downtown Gatlinburg Family Cabin with Private Pool, unit 999 "Smoky Mountain Gold" formerly known as "The Lodge at Burg Hill", is a 6 bedroom 7.5 bath cabin located within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. This beautiful property features everything that a family would need to make a memorable family vacation including a private indoor swimming pool, a game room, and a movie theater with an 98 inch TV! The Lodge at Burg Hill is perfect for family gatherings, church groups, friend groups, and much more!
Entering the property you come into the fully furnished living room with 2 sofas with built in recliners, a love seat with built in recliners, a 70 inch TV, and a stone encased year round electric fireplace. Just off the living room is the dining room that features two large dining tables with seating for 8 at each table, and a fully furnished kitchen with an oversized kitchen island with additional seating for 5. The fully furnished kitchen comes with all the appliances including two large refrigerators, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The main level of this cabin also features 3 of the 6 bedrooms, all with king size beds, 50 inch TVs, and private bathrooms. The top floor of this property features the other three bedrooms, 2 with king size beds, and one with 2 sets of queen size bunk beds. All three of these bedrooms also offer 50 inch TVs and private bathrooms.
The bottom level of the cabin is where all the fun takes place! As you enter the downstairs you come to the private heated indoor pool. This pool is for all ages with depths ranging from 1 to 5 feet, and a private shower inside the pool area. Just around the corner is the game room, featuring a pool table, Golden Tee, dual racing games, Air hockey, table, skeeball, 2 stand-up multi-cade arcade games. . The cabin was good for a large group. It can comfortably fit 18 on beds. Everyone else gets a futon. It was easy to get in and out of the property. It was also in the middle of Gatlinburg. Nice place overall. The host was very responsive. The pickleball paddles were broken, and they had them replaced the same day.

Great home for a large group! This home will keep all ages entertained! Futons in 4 of the bedrooms helped sleep additional kids. Beds are really comfortable and there are lots of extra quilts and blankets to make up the futons or kids sleeping on the couch. Kitchen had all you needed to cook with a charcoal grill right outside.If you are bringing additional trash bags you’ll need the large leaf bags. Inside trash cans are too large for kitchen bags. You will see a bear here! Do not leave any food or trash outside, the bears will find it and you’ll have a mess to clean up. Conveniently located close to a trolly stop (red line stop 44). You could walk to town if you really like walking. The house has been updated with decor and nicer outside furniture so the pictures in the listing could be updated. Automatic locks and an alarm on the pool room were nice to have with small kids. No ice maker so bring ice. FYI - read sign about light switches downstairs for pickleball court lights, if you turn both on that will trip the breaker and the upstairs tv will shut off along with those lightsOnly complaints - house is very noisy and all sound carries thru out the house. Kids playing air hockey in basement can be heard all the way up to the back 3rd floor bedroom. Not enough trash storage outside for a house that sleeps 25. Thankfully they allowed us to leave the additional trash inside so we didn’t have to haul it off. We had a great time with our family and would love to return!!

Great cabin and friendly rental agency. Check in was simple enough but there was so much information emailed to me prior that I had to sift through it to find information. Maybe a more simplified communication process would help. Also, slow responses to questions using the VRBO app. Again, very kind people when they respond. We all hope to return and stay again!

Really great property, with plenty of room to spread out - game room, pool and hot tubs were so much fun, along with the pickle-ball and basketball court! **Bears seem drawn to the area, probably because it smells so good with the food smells from the strip coming up the hill - be on the lookout and definitely don't leave ANY food in your car (they know how to open a car door)** Trolley stop is so convenient across the street. Big plus, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas We hope to return next year!
