2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. We really enjoyed our stay at this unit. Alec our host could not have been any more responsive or friendly. He is great. The view and access to the ocean are perfect! We did cook in the unit so we could maximize our time at the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, however a pancake turner spatula was missing. Also the cutting board in this unit is small and made of plastic.We had a wonderful stay and would come back to this property! Thank you.

The Wild Dunes location was perfect. Easy to get to the beach and to a concert on Daniel Island, easy check in and gate entry process. The condo building itself is showing its age with unvented elevators, salt water battered wood/screens/doors. The condo shower has been updated and the space was ample, just the details could be cleaned better or small things fixed. The AC would not cool past 75 which was hard to sleep in even with all the extra fans running and blinds closed all weekend.
