KastleRock is a beautiful home with long range views of Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Beach Mountain Ski Resort are both within 10 minutes of the house. Completely private on 5 acres. Completely remodeled in 2017 with beautiful granite, stainless steel countertops, Jacuzzi tub's, extra-large walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads and plenty of room outside to enjoy the views while you soak in our 3rd jacuzzi that can accommodate up to 6 people located outside on the patio.
KastleRock is a 3-story home offering 5 Bedrooms, 2 Master Baths and 3 Family Rooms that sleep a total of 16 guests comfortably. Wi-Fi, Cable, Washer, and Dryer are all available in the home. Remotely Nestled on the front side of Beech Mountain.5 COMPLETELY PRIVATE ACRES with SPECTACULAR views of Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain this home is STRATEGICALLY centered within minutes of Beech Mountain Ski Slopes and Sugar Mountain Ski Slopes. Also, perfect year-round with endless hiking and mountain bike trails, Down Hill Mountain Biking, White Water Rafting, kayaking, Caving, Cycling, and Ultimate Trout fishing!!
Within a short drive, you can visit Grandfather Mountain State Park for breathtaking views, Downtown Banner Elk for eloquent cuisines and the top of Beech for that down home mountain atmosphere. The Land of OZ, The Highland Games and The Wooly Worm Festival are a don't miss classic to the area. ARE A MUST!! There is one video camera that is located in the parking area please don’t disturb this camera.
To accommodate most of our guest we have 5 bedrooms, 1 King and 4 Queens that sleep, 10 adults. The additional 6 guest are welcomed on the futon sleeper that is located on the 1st floor and spacious sleeping in 3 family rooms. WE PROVIDE BEDDING AND TOWELS FOR 12 GUEST IF YOU HAVE A LARGER GROUP STAYING AT KASTLEROCK PLEASE BRING EXTRA PILLOWS BLANKETS AND T0WELS.... Both master bathrooms have Hot Tubs and walk-in showers with Rainfall SHOWER HEADS. The kitchen is central on the parking floor with seating for everyone to meet and relax. One of the owners' best friends is Handicapped so attention to door size and accessibility to the main floor Kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and covered areas are thought out. Loved our stay!! The house is beautiful and the view is amazing.. woke up to snow yesterday morning. Loved the family of deer they visited a lot. The place is above and beyond the pictures we will be back next year.

Mr. Tood was great!!! Very responsive and kind. The cabin has great views and the deers are friendly..lol but we did not feed them. There was a couple issues with the appliances like the refrigerator and the kitchen sink hot water. Other issues hallway bathroom didn't seem to get warm. Lastly the downstairs game room area could use a half bathroom-just a toilet and sink. The host did address the refrigerator issue but couldn't get anyone to come look at it due to the holidays.

Very reasonably priced. We had our elderly in-laws with us… toilets good for handicapped but not the bathing areas and there is no seating in the home suitable for handicapped. All backless stools for dining and a vey low sofa. The living area on the main level reaked of the smell of an ash tray so we weren’t able to spend much time there. Shower heads have zero water pressure, only a drip at times, so you have to wash your hair in the big jacuzzi tubs.
Nice game room area! Beautiful views from the hot tub (though it’s on its last leg) Just needs a good cleaning and some updates.
