Cabot trail, walk to beach, luxurious living space, gorgeous Atlantic Ocean view

The location was ideal for us. We wanted a water view in a non built up area. On clear nights sky views were wonderful. During the day seals, gulls (3 species ), ducks, smaller land birds flittering around. Resident great blue heron, guilemiont, and eider. Sitting on deck day and night great. Lots of space, more roomThan required for the 8 of us. Nice big table for group to use. Clean, great indoor air circulation (locate the two vents upstairs and open them). Short distance to seafood. 5 out of 5.

Liked - the location, especially the outside, the living rooms and kitchen layout. - Aized is courteous and communicative which I really appreciated - well insulated windows (it can get windy here) - centrally located for a bunch of activities on the cabot trail - a beautiful view to wake up to rain or shine Didn't Like - the Internet speed was not as advertised. It was slower than expected - the deep bathtub could benefit from a curtain so that it can be used for a normal shower - the layout of the top WC is a bit awkward as the sink is outside the WC

It was our pleasure to stay at Aized’s house. Location is awesome. Beautiful sea view. Well decorated and clean. He was very friendly and polite. He sent us a nice treat . We’ll come back again. Recommend.

This home has lots of potential, but came up a bit short for us. First the good: quiet location, wonderful view, nice wrap-around porch for your group to gather. Nice to wake up to a lovely sea view and watch the seals in the bay. The owner is very nice, very responsive. The home's description says "luxurious living space," but that is not how we would describe it. The kitchen, furniture and beds are dated. There are no closets in any of the bedrooms. The 2nd bathroom has no shower, only a bathtub. Three or 4 lightbulbs were missing or burnt out. There's no air conditioning. In August, we experienced 3 different temperature zones. Bottom level was cold. Middle level was warm, but could be cooled by opening windows. Top level was very warm and opening the two skylights did not lower the temperature much. As a result, it was difficult to sleep on the top floor. Only about half of the home's windows could be opened, which also limited the cooling potential. Based on the description and reviews, our expectations were high, but overall it did not reach them, at least with the interior.
