You’re approximately a 5-minute walk from Jacó Beach using our arranged pedestrian access through Hotel Club Del Mar, directly across the street. Downtown Jacó, restaurants, supermarkets, nightlife, and activities are all just a few minutes away.
The two-home layout makes Casa Mariposa especially well suited for multi-family vacations, reunions, milestone celebrations, and group getaways. Everyone can spend time together while still having enough space and privacy to spread out.

BEACH & LOCATION
One of Casa Mariposa's biggest advantages is having the beach, nature, restaurants and Jacó within easy reach.
Jacó Beach: Approximately a 5-minute walk using our arranged pedestrian access through Hotel Club Del Mar directly across the street. Prefer to drive? It's approximately 2 minutes by car or Uber.
Restaurants: Hotel Club Del Mar's Bar & Grill and PuddleFish Brewery are within walking distance. Uber Eats is also widely available.
El Miro: The popular rainforest hiking trail is just around the corner, offering scenic views and opportunities to spot local wildlife.
Downtown Jacó: Approximately 5 minutes by car/Uber for restaurants, shopping and nightlife.
Groceries: Major supermarkets are approximately 5 minutes away.
ROAD NOISE
Our convenient location near the beach and town also means the property borders a main road. Some traffic noise can be heard at the estate.
Most guests find the convenience and tropical setting a worthwhile trade-off, and earplugs are available if desired. Guests who require complete silence should consider whether the location is the right fit.
ACCESSIBILITY
The estate has significant stairs and is not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with significant mobility challenges.
GROUP SIZE
The standard capacity is 16 guests.
Up to 18 guests may be accommodated using air mattresses with prior approval and an additional fee. Please contact us before booking for groups larger than 16.
Layout note: The upstairs bedrooms/bathroom feature an open architectural design with partial openings above some interior walls, so sound privacy is more limited than in the other bedrooms.
PROPERTY CARE
Our pool and landscaping teams may briefly access outdoor areas during scheduled maintenance visits. We make every effort to minimize disruption to guests.
TROPICAL LIVING
Brief utility interruptions can occasionally occur in Costa Rica. Our local team responds as quickly as possible if an issue arises.
We recommend bottled water for drinking and cooking.

We were looking for a nice place for a week for our group in Costs Rica to beat the winter blues and this was the perfect house. Both houses had their charm. Most importantly, the place was clean, comfortable and safe. Hosts were very proactive and took care of our needs.Close to restaurants, shops and local attractions. Overall, Great value!We hope to return next year.

Our stay at this beautiful beach house in Jaco, Costa Rica, was everything we hoped for and more. With three families and 12 people, the house was clean, comfortable, spacious enough, and perfectly located just minutes from the beach.Ken & Laura, the hosts, were fantastic—quick to respond to any questions and attentive to every need. She even sent help promptly for a couple of small issues. I suggest that you communicate on WhatsApp. Ken was also proactive and ensured our stay was smooth.While there was some ambient traffic noise, it was minor and never impacted our experience. We were in and out most of the day. The house felt safe and secure, giving us peace of mind as we relaxed and enjoyed our time together.Thank you, Laura and Ken, for your exceptional hospitality! We will be back.
