Absolutely the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. The host was always available but not intrusive. Bedding and all the furniture were very comfortable. No one had a "bad bed". There is a very peaceful koi pond in the back that we weren't even expecting.The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because if someone is looking for something fancy or modern this wouldn't be for them. But it would be a great place for a family or someone with a dog.

Dan’s place was nice and roomy for my family. It was the perfect location for visiting Cuyahoga Valley national park and a day trip into Cleveland. Check in was easy and house was clean and well stocked. Would stay again

The property was in a quiet area that felt very safe. Close to a gas station as well as several restaurants and shops. The home is spacious and having two bathrooms is a huge plus. The hot tub was perfect at the end of the day after hiking and we loved watching the koi and turtles in the backyard pond. The host was very attentive and responded quickly when we had a need or a question. We were grateful to have a full kitchen and gas grill to prepare the majority of our meals. Would definitely stay here again.Things to do nearby: Luigi's for pizza, hiking the numerous Cuyahoga trails (Ledges Trail & Brandywine Falls area a must see!) and there are plenty of Metro Parks. The Scenic Railroad tour was a great way to see the area and learn about it's history.

Our stay was very pleasant. The kitchen was well appointed, with a living room which made conversation easy. We enjoyed the fire in the stove, with an adequate supply of wood. The only negative is the bathroom in the Master Bedroom, which is quite tiny. One can almost turn around in the shower. Overall, we were very pleased with this property.

Well-stocked home in a nice neighborhood. Beautiful koi pond is a lovely spot for morning coffee. Hot tub is a great way to soothe muscles after hiking in park. Very much appreciated the extras like beach towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, tissues, etc. Host is very gracious. House was perfect for us, but larger groups should be aware there are 2 bathrooms (listing indicates 3). Would happily stay here again if we returned to the area! The kitchen was well stocked too, although we didn’t use it. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We've stayed at many Vrbo and other properties. This was one of the nicest ones by far. We're used to bringing soaps, TP, garbage bags,etc but this house was fully stocked. Dan really thought of everything! There were even dog bowls and a leash! I noticed too that many of the property owners keeps decorations to a bare minimum, out of fear of theft I'm guessing. Not so here. There were decorative vases, pictures, chatchkies, even a large light up globe -- all of which i really appreciated. Good job Dan.

Dans house was a great winter escape. The house was clean and cozy in a great neighborhood of Akron. We enjoyed the fire place and espresso maker, and our puppy enjoyed running in the back yard. Thank you for the great stay.

We were in Akron to visit our son and granddaughters and celebrate an early Christmas with them. This home is very clean and we felt comfortable and right at home there from the start! We went to the Christmas spectacular at Stan Hywet…we could have walked because it’s so close to the house. Fully fenced in backyard was a real bonus for our little Beagle. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. I highly recommend staying here!

Property was as described. A nice older home, very well kept. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around and admire all of the huge houses/manshions. The completely fenced in back yard was a huge selling point for us as we brought our two dogs. Very comfortable stay, would rent again if in the area. The listing is very accurate. The livingroom, diningroom and kitchen are large and accommodating. The hot tub worked perfectly. The location was great to easily get to everything of interest in Akron. Highly recommend.

Check in process very easy and Dan was readily available. Backyard was nicely enclosed for our dog. The couch and recliner are comfortable for relaxing after a day of hiking. The twin beds are comfortable but the king bed could be replaced as one side is broken down. Our older backs could tell. Maybe others could not tell with the foam topper. Knowing these things I still gave it a 5 based on location, Dan’s availability, and the overall features for what we wanted.

We loved staying at this rental and will definitely look for its availability in the future. The area is close to our son and is beautiful and safe. The decor and layout of the rental is strikingly more beautiful in person than photos can convey. Dan made himself easily accessible and checked up on us like a friendly neighbor. It is about a 40min drive to airport/downtown Cleveland so plenty to do and see. Highly recommend this rental

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was a clean comfortable house, centrally located between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Football Hall of Fame. Also close by was the national park. Key features were the quiet safe neighborhood and the fenced backyard for my dogs. Another plus was the fun and interesting Akron zoo.

We loved this house. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 dogs. There was an amazing fenced in yard for the dogs. There was a hot tub and koi pond. The house was close to everything. We were in town to see our son and to go to a concert at Blossom. Thank you so much for a great stay!!
