Nestled within a secure, fenced compound, this charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage offers a private dock, boat lift, and access to bream and bass fishing on the River and Lake George. Bring your boat, explore by a 20 minute boat ride Silver Glen Springs, or Salt Springs and see the manatees in the clear water and savor meals at Renegades on The River. St. Augustine, a coastal gem, is just 40 miles away. Crescent City, 8 miles away, provides paddle boat and paddleboard rentals, a playground, and the unique semi-submarine ride at Hallie’s.
Securely dock your boats in the 100' canal between the houses or use the boat house, dock has a larger boat lift or use the 3000# boat lift in boat house, complete with electricity and fish cleaning facilities. Try crabbing using the provided traps, or opt for guided fishing and nature tours. Nearby airboat rides await, and the tranquility of the Ocala National Forest across the river ensures privacy.

This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first time. We appreciate the dock and easy access to the river. We used the crab traps provided and had a boil on our last night. Kitchen is well stocked. Host was friendly and checked on us a few times during our stay.

This home was truly a hidden gem! Perfect for our family of 7-Easter dinner. At no time was it a crowd, as there are plenty of cozy places to lounge, indoors and out. There's a very nice foosball table in the living area where young & old were challenged continuously throughout our stay. We loved the dock and outdoors, where wildlife was abundant. We loved our stay and already looking forward to another visit. Great memories. The listing photos are accurate.

Our second time staying at this property. No issues whatsoever. Enjoyed talking with Mr Lacy. He is such a welcome caretaker. We look forward to visiting again.
