Beach houses in Corfu “Angelos” at Agios Gordios

My family and I stayed at Apartment C for a week, wonderful sunset from the veranda and great beaches if you walk for a few minutes. We loved the beaches beyond the Black Rock restaurant, which you can see from the house and it is also a great place to eat all day. The beach is two minutes walk from the house, but I would recommend to walk a couple of minutes either side fir very nice ones. The house is very clean and good for 4 people. We loved the veranda and watching beautiful sunset from there. The kitchen is a bit small, I think a microwave and an extra small cupboard in the house to store food would be very helpful. Maria the owner was very nice and prompt at answering our questions. Check in is very easy. Finding the property was a bit confusing at first as we arrived at night and we missed the junction that takes you to the properties near the sea. It is a very tight and steep bend on the right coming from Corfù. We found easier to make a U turn further down the road, circa 30 minutes down the hill where there is the main entrance to the Pink Palace resort. From there you go back up the Hill and turn left under a metal arch and follow the directions given for the check in. Everyone was lovely and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

there should have been an accurate description of the difficult terrain. I found it very difficult to navigate and it caused me much ongoing pain in my joints

It was a nice stay with a great seaview from the balcony. Apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Eventhough there are a couple of other apartments it is quite private. Location is right at the beach and parking is close. If you want to see more of the island a car rental is advised ! Host was available almost every morning so if you have questions or an issue it will be solved quickly. Very nice value for money restaurant and beach bars closeby. Would recommend and would definitely visit again !

This is a lovely apartment with everything you need for a longer stay. There was even a few coffee capsules to get you started and wine & beer in the fridge. Lots of towels, rooms were very clean, and the terrace is amazing, couches, table & chairs. We ate all our meals there watching the evening sunsets, and early morning breakfasts. Only negative review, is that our flight arrived at 7:30 pm , and the person who was supposed to meet us had left at 2:00 in the afternoon. The key was not in the door as we were told. The place is difficult to find at night with very little signage from the main road down. The key ended up in a lockbox at the gate but we were given NO code to get in. Somehow the owner of the local grocery store was able to call someone, get the code and called a friend who drove us down there at 10:30 pm. Having said all that, we would definitely come back again next summer, now that we know the check-in procedure.

This was an amazing apartment with great views off the balcony and easy beach access. it is a sweet spot!

Once our taxi driver found the place (it was late and dark), it was exactly as described. Only a ten minute walk down to the beach - easy to access bars/restaurants and shops from the boardwalk. Loved the veranda! Sunsets were spectacular! Swimming in the Ionian Sea was so much fun.

Perfect terrace for the sunset ! Very convenient for the beach and not direcly in the village which is good!

Lovely house with great sunset views from the spacious terrace in a peaceful setting (in October), and a short walk to town. Linen change and cleaning midweek was a plus.
