Welcome to Angelhaus Bolmensee – your ultimate fishing retreat located directly on Lake Bolmen, Southern Sweden’s premier predator fishing water for pike-perch (zander), pike, and perch!
The 90 m² holiday home sits on a private 2,000 m² waterfront plot in a prime location with its own swim area, private dock, and panoramic water views. A 15 m² glass-enclosed terrace allows for cozy evenings by the water even on cooler days. Just 250 meters behind the house, the deep Swedish forest begins with wonderful hiking trails, ideal for picking mushrooms and berries.
Boat & Motor Options for Anglers:
• Included in Your Stay: 1 boat (as a rowboat, without motor) is included in the rental price for your entire stay! Perfect for quiet, stealthy rowing and shore-line casting.
• Motor Add-ons (Petrol/Electric): To easily reach top fishing spots and deep structure across the lake, you can add a petrol or electric motor as an optional extra.
• Second Fishing Boat Available: A second boat with motor options is also available upon request – ideal for fishing groups.
• 2 boats are always available at the property, and a 3rd boat can occasionally be arranged upon request for larger fishing groups.

We stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely cottage. A beautifull place! Odensjö and the Bolmen lake are simpely fantastic! We will be back for sure

We had a great week and could enjoy all the amenities that this lakeside place provides: The quietness, the sumptuous space, the great view over the lake in the morning and the winter garden in the cooler evenings. For those that want to stay connected the wifi was extremely fast. The boat (we used one, but there is two for hire) was good to discover the neighbourhood, even though it may not be fast enough to discover all of lake Bolmen in one single morning (maybe not even in a full day).
The house is well-equipped with everything that may be needed and on cooler days the heated floor is very cosy. There are options for walks nearby, but one may find it more attractive to just stay and relax (even our dogs did so).
We did not need the help of our host, because everything was explained well on our arrival, but we always had the feeling that our host or another family member would jump in if needed.
For those that want to hire this place: Lidhult and Unnaryd are nice, little villages nearby with limited shopping, but for a Saturday arrival you should plan to procure the essentials for the weekend prior to your arrival in Ljungby (approx. 40 min by car), which is close to the E4 that most travellers would use anyway.
