Guest Experiences
"The Robin's Nest was a lovely home with a great layout and all the amenities we could ask for. A well-stocked spice drawer, extra blankets, great outdoor space, activities to go with said outdoor space. There were plenty of places for all of the humans and just as many for the four-legged guests that were with us. I would absolutely stay with Petchell again."

"When I say they had thought of everything, I mean everything! So many nice touches to make you feel welcomed and things you may not have thought of were readily available! The porch, the view, the rooms, the ambiance was all a peaceful serene getaway from a busy life!"

Experience the magic of Robin's Nest - your perfect year-round retreat awaits!

Very welcoming and comfortable home. They had everything you need to cook. The coffee bar was very nice to wake up to. The host even had stuff for making s’mores. Our adult kids loved sitting by the outside fire. I don’t think it could have been any better. The host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy house and hosts were wonderful! We used this as a “home base” for a motorcycle trip with friends, and the area has lots to explore and great little restaurants. Excellent place! Hope to be back!

Communication with the host was excellent. A little house idiosyncracy was quickly resolved. The view from the porch will be etched in our fond family memories of our week together. Every detail to make the week enjoyable was there from the ample wood for the firepit and a s'mores kit to the well-stocked kitchen with plenty of tools and preparation items. Loads of towels, ample toiletries, and even items for our furry family member were included. We were a bit intimidated by the driveway, but the short hill down to the house is well graveled and leads to a large parking area. Our concern about not being close to services proved to be overblown, as Parsons is a sweet little town with plenty of what we needed, not to mention some very nice, updated parks and walking paths. We visited Nashville one day and Mousetail State Park another. Lick Creek was pretty shallow at this time of the summer at our end, but it didn't prevent us from lots of fun kayaking. Lots of room both indoor and outdoor. Very generous hosts. Thanks for a beautiful and precious time with our family.
