About this cottage rental
Privately situated cottage on 3+ acres with steps leading down to the 300 feet of shore frontage and beach. Excellent views of water and surrounding spruce woods. Cathedral ceilings add to the light, open and cheery feel. Enjoy the well equipped kitchen, with fresh herb & flower gardens growning outside. Relax inside on the comfortable furnishings, or step outside to the large deck with outdoor seating - adirondack chairs on the lawn. Perfect for a couple, with room for one more on the sofa bed in family room. Note: This is a no smoking property. Pets with permission; please ask.

Very clean and nice. Especially appreciated the privacy and the well-equipped kitchen. Very quiet area…which led to sighting many birds and a seal.Cabin is basic, but has what is needed.Sink drain in bathroom is very slow and needs to be cleared out.

Those of us who have spent summers in Maine since childhood can recognize when a cottage hits all the marks, and this one does. It’s just perfect. Not fancy. You don’t want fancy. But it is cozy and earthy and elegant, outfitted with what you need, access to quiet harbors, a good chair to sit by the sea in, a comfy bed with an ocean breeze. This spot is all that. My mom, a local, says it felt like home.If I’m lucky, I’ll get to go back! Grateful

Unfortunately the mold is still in the shower. We were without heat for 3 days. We did message, text, and call but it took a full day for someone to call us and it did not get resolved before we left. The cabin got to 50 degrees at night. The private location was lovely and peaceful.
