Located in East Rock, arguably one of the most desired areas in New Haven, you'll find amazing restaurants including the incredible Nica's Market and Blue State Coffee in short walking distance, beautiful streets and parks to explore and shopping close by. Also Yale is just up the street! Sunshine Central: 2nd floor, 2-level apartment. Sunlit rooms, bohemian style, queen beds, ambient lighting, room darkening curtains. Cozy living room, large couch, chaise lounge, leather chair, Roku TV. 2 beautiful bathrooms, spa glass showers. Washer, dryer on 2nd floor. Linens, toiletries provided. Well-equipped kitchen, sunny with sheer curtains, gas range, pots, pans, spices, teas, coffee, Keurig. Marble island, bar stools, dining table for 4. The East Rock neighborhood of New Haven, named for nearby East Rock, a prominent trap rock ridge and hiking trail, is one of the premiere neighborhoods in the city. The area is home to a large group of Yale staff, and faculty, as well as many young professionals and families. East Rock is also a popular destination for cyclists, as a city bike lane runs along Orange Street, the neighborhood's spine. The abundance of coffee shops, eateries and the like make this a must see while in New Haven. Orange street is considered a main artery of New Haven. Access to bus routes and the train is walkable. Parking at the unit is off street for one car. Let us know if you have more than one coming and we will provide additional parking passes.

Cute apartment as seen in photos. Rooms were clean and comfortable. As stated in other reviews, could use towel bars in bathrooms. Also guidance on trash emptying and further instructions for parking (# of spaces) ahead of time would have helped. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would recommend for friends/family.

This is a very roomy 3-bed, 2-bath apartment very close to the highway. Everything was as advertised. There was some street noise on Friday night, but then again the house is in New Haven. Otherwise, all was very good. Check out Nica's Market up the street for some amazing paninis.

Close to attractions and safe. Lots of traffic noise. Pictures are better than in person. Rooms were as described in listing but property is in need of TLC. Everything looked unfinished. Bathrooms lacking any hooks or bars for towels. Thermostat worked well on main level but upstairs was hot. Windows would not close all the way. Did not receive check in or check out details timely despite proactively reaching out to host.
