About this villa rental
Lovely detached villa in own gardens with private pool and barbecue area. Modern and comfortable, in quiet location, but within easy reach of shops, restaurants and beaches.
A real home-from-home feel to the property. Fully equipped with modern appliances and equipment, Freeview satellite TV and books/games to fully enjoy a relaxing holiday in our home-from-home. Very modern, clean and comfortable furnishings and excellent equipment ensure a comfortable stay.
Although there are many excellent, good value restaurants within easy reach, we include a welcome pack of basic groceries with all bookings to ensure that your arrival is as pleasant as possible. Linen and towels are changed on departure, and all prices include end of holiday cleaning.
The villa is furnished to a high standard, to ensure comfort and relaxation throughout your stay. We have air conditioning in the lounge/dining room and all bedrooms so is suitable for use all year round.
Private grounds with private swimming pool: The gardens are particularly pleasant and have a range of outdoor furniture and a lovely barbecue area. There is a large sun terrace upstairs which can be reached via the master bedroom or the landing. Beautiful mountain views from the terrace make it a very pleasant place to enjoy the sun.
Tres Cales local area: Tres Cales is the largest urbanisation in Ametlla De Mar. It is on the coast, so there are several lovely beaches within a couple of minutes drive form the villa. Saint Jordi beach also has an historic Castle nearby.
There is a Commercial Centre on the urbanisation, with shops and restaurants, but it is only a few minutes drive into the village of Ametlla, which is a very traditional Spanish fishing village. The focus is the lovely fishing harbour around which there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. There is also a charming old town with interesting architecture.
Costa Dorada Area: There are lots of places to visit in the area. Tarragona, Cambrils and Salou are the closest main holiday resorts. Each offers lots of interesting places to visit, from beautiful beaches, good restaurants and shops to historic architecture, particularly Tarragona.
There is a lovely long promenade in Salou, as well as a Universal Studios theme park and water park called Port Aventura. Cambrils is a very cosmopolitan marina resort, lots of restaurants and boutiques. Tarragona itself has a beautiful old town, with ancient buildings around busy squares full of restaurants and pavement cafes.
It is a huge wine-growing region, famous for Cava and Torres wines. There are also local markets selling fresh fruit, vegetables and cured hams etc.

Great communication from Dawn from the outset, including sorting out a couple of issues whilst we were there and going over and above.
Villa had everything we needed, set in a nice and peaceful neighbourhood. Car a necessity, but we knew that anyway and had planned on the fact we’d need to drive to key places.

Right from booking Dawn was in contact with us giving us some recommendations along with some hints and tips for the local area which really helped as we didn’t know the area.
She provided contact details in case there were any issues (there were none!) and we received a lovely welcome pack on arrival.
The villa was better than we expected, very private and secure, an ideal place for our family to enjoy a relaxing break.
We would definitely recommend, 5 stars!!

We stayed in this beautiful villa for a week and had a wonderful time. We celebrated a birthday during the week and Dawn was very helpful with giving us local recommendations. The weather was perfect so we had wonderful beach days. The beaches in the area are beautiful and Dawn was extremely helpful with her local knowledge. The villa has everything we could have wished for. Perfectly equipped for 4 month old, 2 and 7 year old and adults enjoyed the bbq area where we enjoyed locally caught fresh fish. The neighbours were wonderful too and supplied us with home grown vegetables every day. A perfect holiday to create happy memories.
