And most importantly, the owner of the house checked us in earlier than it was indicated on the website, because of our products, which is very important. We stayed over a long weekend with family, including my infant grandson.The cart, chairs and sand toys in the garage were very welcome.The walk to the beach was easy and not too far, but it was very hot walking back.The house was great, clean and well equipped, we didn't use the basement rooms at all. The internet worked well and we used our own Netflix account on the TV.A highchair and cot would have helped with the infant.The AC worked well on the main floor but we all found the upstairs bedrooms too hot overnight. Maybe extra thermostats in the bedrooms would have helped?Lots of tourist shops and takeouts along the main street to the beach and a well stocked supermarket a short drive away.The beach was crowded but very nice and clean otherwise.

We were a little disappointed about the cleanliness/neatness of the home upon arrival. We found dead bugs and dust on windows and window sills, kitchen counter was left dirty with sticky substance, fridge was found with crumbs/ stains, kitchen garbages left with garbage. We had to clean a lot of it ourselves unfortunately. When we complained about this to the owners and asked for cleaning fee refund, we were denied. We will say however the home is spacious and great if you are a large group. It is also a close walk to beach and main strip which was convenient. Overall, we loved visiting grand bend, but will likely not stay here in the future.
