The property sits in a large and mature garden with great views to the southwest towards the bay of Foinikas. A covered and cool front veranda is the ideal spot to eat breakfast and then relax in bamboo chairs while out of the morning sun. The vine-covered back patio with its pots of flowers and sweet smelling jasmine adjacent to the kitchen is the perfect romantic place to have dinner. The large poplar tree and covered barbecue allows you to enjoy the garden, the local countryside with its majestic mountains and limitless blue sky while sipping a cool drink and enjoying the grilled food.

Beautiful old world style villa with great views overlooking the town and harbor. Furnishings were comfortable, the kitchen had every gadget you needed and bathrooms were modern. Great location on a hill overlooking Poseidonia, easy access to the beach and beachside tavernas. Mini Mart, taverna and bakery all easy walk (less than 1/2 mile) away. Home was immaculate with maid service and the grounds and pool well kept.

10/10. The property is actually much bigger and more attractive than the pictures show. A genuinely wonderful experience to stay in a lovely old home with oodles of history everyone around us. To our pleasant surprise we had a daily housekeeper who has known the property for many years and made everything just so easy for us! Perfect place to stay in the laid back island of Syros and enjoy all it has to offer.

We had a lovely time at Villa Oliander. Although the house is a bit dated, it is comfortable with lovely views and outside areas. The house keeper was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommended this property.
