About this apartment rental
Secret Garden offers luxurious accommodation with every home comfort. Set within a traditional Cotswolds barn, Woodcock Farm sits on the Cotswold Way on an Iron Age hill fort that was subsequently occupied by the Romans and Anglo Saxons; so history is literally on the doorstep.
Located just 5 mins from J18 of M4 set in quiet, rolling countryside close to Bath, Bristol, Tetbury, Westonbirt, Chipping Sodbury & Cirencester.
Secret Garden is a beautiful studio space combining contemporary and traditional. The kitchen comprises microwave combi cooker, two ring hob, fridge with freezer compartment and all cooking equipment.
The spacious shower offers both a rain and hand held shower head. The decor is stylish with a large mirror, attractive tiling to both walls and floor.
The king-size bed has a top quality memory foam mattress to ensure a really good night's sleep. Top quality linens just add to the feeling of luxury.
Freeview TV and free wifi are provided, (but please remember we are in the country so the speeds may not be as you are used to!). The cosy sitting area looks out onto the 'secret' garden through a large glazed door with curtains for privacy. The large window lights and glazed windows make this a beautiful airy apartment. The original oak beams reminds you of the history of the farm building...
Locally there is a wide selection of beautiful villages and towns which offer interesting independent shops, National Trust properties, great pubs and restaurants and wonderful walking. There are plenty of places of interest for all the family to visit within an easy drive - Bristol Zoo, Cotswold Water Park, Adam Henson's (BBC Countryfile presenter) farm, Longleat, Bath Roman Baths, Malmesbury Abbey and Westonbirt Arboretum to name a few. We'd be happy to help you with ideas for days out.
The Farm sits on an old Anglo-Saxon Hill Fort which was also used by the Romans. The Cotswold Way crosses the land and there are many really scenic walks all around. We can lend you maps and recommend pubs and stops along the way.
There is an extensive array of wildlife on the farm including hares, deer, badgers, hedgehogs, skylarks, wrens, and red kites.
The whole surroundings are a haven of tranquility and beautiful nature, with spectacular views from the escarpment across the Severn Valley to Wales.

Lovely stay, shame about noise on Saturday evening from a large party at the neighbouring farm, that’s the only negative thing I can say. Couldn’t fault the place otherwise, great facilities, comfy bed, lovely and clean …. we had a lovely time!

We spent a few nights here on bank holiday weekend to enjoy some time in the Cotswolds. The studio has everything we needed and is so nicely kept - Caroline and Jason are very kind hosts who made us feel so welcome. They have a lovely property in a beautiful location along the Cotswolds Way, so we were able to do some great walks using the studio as our base. It’s easy to get into Bath from here, only a short car journey, so we spent one evening there having dinner. We would really recommend this property to anyone looking to explore the Cotswolds and enjoy some peace and quiet in the countryside. The listing is accurate, beds were comfy and the shower is brilliant! Thanks so much x

We have just come back from a short break at Woodcock Farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place is in a great location with main shopping centres just 10mins away and the Cotswolds Way runs round the back of the farm - perfect for a long morning walk. The apartment was spotless when we got there and the kichennette has all the essentials required for self catering. Coming from London this little place was the perfect get away to relax and rejuvenate. Can't wait to go back!
