We just loved our stay at Socali, the house was perfect and the area was perfect. We were able to walk straight from the house (did not need to drive anywhere). The area was stunningly beautiful, breathtaking mountain scenery and blue sky. Everywhere we went people were lovely, and we were able to chat with our little bitof french language.
The house is not very big, but perfect for the two of us. There are beds for 6 people, bu the house wold be quite full! It was immaculately clean and well equipped. The internet connection was a little slow though!
To my delight, the vacuum cleaner worked really well.
It took about 25 minutes to walk to the village, as long as we did not stop to natter for too long, the bread shop was wonderful.
We really enjoyed walking around the village and up into the mountains behind the house. On our last day we walked to the top of the ski slops and had luch up the htere and a beer in the Auberge on the way down, just perfect.
