About this villa rental
Modern Dalmatian holiday home with pool, ideal for holidays with friends and families with children. Pets are welcome.
Villa Lokanjac accommodates up to 6 people and is only 600 m from the centre of Selca, where there are restaurants, cafes and bars. The sea and the beach are about 1 km away.
The house is built from typical Brac stone and enjoys an excellent sunny location, terraces and a large garden with an inviting pool. The impressive view of the lush greenery of the island and the Adriatic Sea ensures a truly relaxing holiday.
With 160 sqm of living space, an 800 sqm garden, swimming pool, terraces and parking spaces for several cars, the villa is spread over two floors, each with separate access. The amenities include WiFi, satellite TV and air conditioning in all rooms.
On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a washing machine. There is also a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, with direct access to the large terrace, pool and garden.
Upstairs there is another bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area and access to the terrace with seating.
Both terraces offer stunning views of the sea, the islands of Hvar and Peljesac, as well as the Biokovo mountains on the mainland. The pool area with sun loungers and parasols invites you to linger. Next to the terrace there is also a large brick barbecue.
The villa is located above Sumartin, on the outskirts of Selca. There are some restaurants, cafes and shopping opportunities nearby, which are within a 600 m walk.

Beautifully positioned modern luxury villa with pool. Stone built BBQ and veggie patch with fresh tomatoes. Stayed here as two couples and loved it...the locals were friendly...visited the town...hired a car locally in Sumartin very cheaply (compared to Split etc) for a few days. You can walk to Selco town with church, restaurants and bars - lovely atmosphere. A taxi is needed to visit Sumartin. Lovely new villa with washing machine etc. Beds are two singles put together and the sun beds could do with tables - but apart from that a 5 star visit. My husband loved the power shower! Loved looking up at the stars from the hillside - so clear. Host Vilma was very helpful.

Villa Lokanjac is situated on the outskirts of Selca, just above Sumartin and benefits from stunning views toward Hvar island and the mainland. It is newly completed with luxury kitchen and bathroom fittings and has a great pool and terrace. Aircon is a welcome benefit though the apartments were quite cool in the heat.
On arrival, Vilma met us and showed us round and ensured that we were happy with everything. The villa was spotless and she'd even left us a lovely welcome pack of bread, meats and cheese as well as local pastries - a lovely touch.
The villa comprises of 2 separate apartments and both are included in the let - one at ground level with a covered balcony - great for shade from the sun and ideal for al fresco dining. The upper flat has an open balcony making the most of the views. Both apartments have a bedroom with king size bed, and sofa beds in the lounge/ open plan kitchen. There is even in honesty wine fridge in the upper apartment! There are loads of towels for use and the bedding is changed once during the week which was very welcome.
It was an ideal set up for us as our teenager had the upper apartment to himself, but equally the arrangement would suit 2 couples or families.
The garden is totally enclosed with electric gates and the terrace has sun beds, parasols and a stone built barbecue which we made great use of. The pool was well used by us - it is a decent size and although filled with salt water, I think it is treated to try to reduce the salt levels - it certainly wasn't as salty as the sea! There is also an outside shower for pool use.
The villa is outside the village and a car is recommended to get about the island generally.
We really enjoyed our stay here and Vilma and her husband were very welcoming and were keen to ensure that we were happy in the villa and had all that we needed.
If you are looking for a villa with stunning views, decent facilities and in a good location, then I can highly recommend staying here.
