Originally built in 1887, this new home rebuilt in 2022 is a replica and rare intact example of the inner city colonial era. Of particular significance is the bull nose veranda, cast iron lacework, stained glass window, kauri doors & timber flooring, double hung windows and high 3.2 metre stud that makes it feel so spacious inside. Offering the charm of yesteryear with modern comforts including central heating/cooling, modern European appliances in a fully equipped kitchen and underfloor tile heating in both bathrooms. Fully equipped laundry with dryer and outside washing line.

A beautifully restored house with all modern amenities, a very welcoming host and at walking distance from the city center. We loved staying here and are looking forward to coming back on a next trip to Christchurch!

Great house in perfect location. We had a wonderful time exploring Christchurch via e-bike from a wonderful house in a choice location.

It had plenty of character but was very warm and comfortable and had all the modern styling and amenities one could hope for. The host was really helpful and pleasant and great at communicating. Very convenient location.
