Beautiful property! I’ve never had a host text multiple times asking for arrival times before getting there and departure times the day of checkout. That was a little off putting at first.. but, after getting there they left us alone unless we needed something.. Overall the place was great. Beautiful view! It’s not as private as the make it seem there is a travel trailer that is pretty close by. However, they keep to themselves.

This property is not secluded as shown in the video/pictures. You share a driveway with 2 other cabins being constructed. So, there was very little peace and quiet with construction taking place about 300 feet away. Our first day, after leaving the cabin to go explore, we are notified that pest control would be there in a few minutes to spray. But just the outside. Thankful because it takes about 10 minutes to get to the main higway and our furbaby was there by himself. It just seemed like that could have been arranged for another day but ok. The next morning we receive the check out instructions as if we were supposed to be checking out that day. Talk about making us feel not so welcomed. Holly did quickly realize it was the day. And responded, Tomorrow.Besides all of those issues, the cabin is nice. Bed is comfortable. Plenty of towels. Clean. Smelled nice. But it just wasn't very cozy. There are no rugs in the cabin, not even under the sink. No tea pitcher to make a pitcher of tea or lemonade. The French press came with instructions. Honestly, it just wasn't all that. Thank goodness we brought our own Mr. Coffee. I highly recommend you do the same. Lastly, the shower on the main floor was very soft. It felt like you may fall through. We didn't go upstairs so I can't comment on that area. Overall, it's a gorgeous lake view, without the sound of dozers and ditch diggers, it would have been very peaceful outside. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning.
