About this cabin rental
The Overlook at Harvest Moon Cottages is located atop a hill, and feels like a treehouse, as you enjoy a bird's eye view of the surrounding hemlock forest. Step through the french doors and enjoy the cathedral ceilinged great room with a fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and a ceramic topped stove, a large dining table plus additional bar and 'pub' table seating, and of course comfy leather couches in front of your gas fireplace and TV (Stream your favorites; don't forget your passwords!), or listen to your choice of music on surround sound speakers. Enjoy free WiFi...perfect for keeping in touch with work or social networking during your stay.
The Overlook features three private bedrooms; one king (upper level), one queen, and one with a queen and a twin (both lower level). All linens are included. Two full bathrooms are stocked with fluffy towels, hairdryers, small bath soaps, and softsoap. The downstairs bathroom features a stacked clothes washer/dryer combo for your convenience. The family room on the lower level features a game table and chairs, as well as cozy reading nook and an additional tv for movies or games.
Outside enjoy your wraparound deck in the treetops while grilling on the Weber gas grill or soaking in the covered hot tub. Smores, anyone??? You have a firepit surrounded by adirondack chairs too. Guests staying in the walkout lower level will enjoy slipping outside for quiet moments, wildlife viewing, or a night cap on their private patio.
Like to fish? Stroll down the drive to our private pond and throw in a line (catch and release; no license necessary)
