Walk To Everything! Downtown New Hope Victorian On The Canal

This place was so clean!! Felt like I checked into a nice hotel. Cool remote controlled adjustable bed in one bedroom. Very comfy. The robes were a nice touch. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you would need. The best possible location. Walking distance to everything. Bedrooms are very bright in the morning so bring an eye mask. Stairs are slippery for dogs to go up and down. I recommend purchasing from Amazon stair treads with a rubber backing. NOT the sticky kind with adhesive. The rubber backing treads keep them secured on steps without any risk of damage to the steps. I bought treads to place on steps just in case and it worked great. Dogs were able to use the stairs after that. Keep in mind the balcony overlooks the backyard, but there’s no door directly to the backyard. If you have dogs, you have to walk them around the house to the back on leash. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay in New Hope. The clean and well appointed twin had everything you could ask for. Located in the heart of New Hope, dining and happy hours were a short walk away. Back at the house, the atmosphere was sophisticated, yet cozy. Dining in was as easy as dining out and the backyard deck had canal and bridge views with songbirds galore. A truly lovely stay!

The location is perfect! Everything was in walking distance. The home is really clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Easy check in/out. Great communication with host. We will definitely stay again.

Our stay was ok. I didn’t realize “air conditioned” doesn’t mean central air. There was one old model window unit in the living room that was supposed to cool the downstairs. It didn’t. We had to stuff paper towels around the gaps around the window unit to keep the cool in and the bugs out. Same thing with the master bedroom unit. The full bath needs a fan to draw out the steam as there’s no ac in the bathroom. The park spot was a reasonable distance but if you have more than one car, be prepared to pay . Probably nice in spring or fall.
