About this house rental
Charming ADK 3 bedroom, 1 bath with bonus room. The interior is warm and inviting making it a perfect place to relax, reconnect, and make memories. The home has beautiful open beams and woodwork that provides a true Adirondack experience with all the modern conveniences. Located directly across the street from the moose river you are able to sit and enjoy your coffee on the front porch or sit around the fire pit. The Toby bike trail is down the street making it an excellent spot to bike right from the house into town. A drop in area for kayaking is also down the street within a blocks walking distance by the green bridge area.

New foosball table in sunroom , cornhole game boards provided. No additional fee at transfer station

Lovely home perfect for our annual family trip. Melissa and Scott were amazing and such lovely people. The owner is great and take a lot of pride in their home. The Spruce Moose was more than perfect for me and my 20 y.o. son during our long weekend (3-night) stay. It exceeded our expectations! Check-in & communications with Melissa were easy and excellent. It’s very spacious and well equipped, updated & appointed. You can tell the owners take great pride in their property. We didn’t use the 2nd floor bedroom, which would be great for kids - just the 2 downstairs bedrooms. We used the front porch in mornings and evenings. Fire pit in the front yard and propane grill in the back. Quiet Adirondack wooded neighborhood. Close to Thendara & Old Forge. We always drove. Moose River nearby. Short walk/drive to Green Bridge where you can launch kayaks in the Moose River. We’d return to the Spruce Moose in a heartbeat! Thank you!

My family had a fantastic stay at the Spruce Moose! The house was charming and clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were fun games for rainy days, and there were thoughtful touches in every room to make the stay comfortable and convenient. The location is a quiet setting on a friendly street, private but still near lots of great attractions like hiking and the water park. We enjoyed seeing wildlife in the yard from the sunroom and spent time relaxing on the lovely front porch. Communication with the owner and property manager was great every step of the way. We can’t recommend this enough.
