Our month-long stay on Royal St through was exactly as described. The property had everything we needed for a perfect blend of work and play. It’s conveniently located, just a short walk or drive to downtown or the beach. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and on-site, ensuring a seamless experience. While we didn’t use the pool, the amenities were spot-on. We’d love to return for our next visit!

The location is great if you are looking for a walkable vacation with quiet at home. You can be on Duval or at the beach within minutes. The rental is attached to the main house where the owners live full time which makes for close quarters. Thankfully the owners were kind, nice and friendly. The rental has all the appliances and such that you need for a month long visit. Some of the essential and comfort items could use a refresh (pillows, fry pan, shower curtain, bath rug, maybe add some soft throw pillows for the couch) but the current ones got the job done. The bathroom is designed a bit strange and we didn’t find the inside cabinet behind the mirror for a few days. It is helpful to store your things. The backyard ‘oasis’ is a relaxing area to just hang out for a few drinks or whatever day or night and we did often. The pool is small but deep and enough to cool you off. We both enjoyed the constant water flowing out of the cast iron water pump. We wished a couple times that we had access to a grill as food is expensive in Key West but we made due. All in all, it was a very nice 28 days in this rental in sunny Key West!
