About this house rental
Hear the call of the loons on this private lake in southern Maine! This recently renovated, open concept, year round home has the amenities you need for a getaway including a dock and outdoor fireplace. Enjoy peaceful mornings canoeing on the lake or sipping coffee on the dock or your deck. Watch the water skiers, pontoon boats and sailboats adorn the lake on the weekends. Enjoy kayaking or bring your own SUPs or other non-motorized watercraft. (There is no public boat launch for motorized water craft.) Play some ping pong when you need a break from the water or build a fire in the outdoor fireplace. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings in the fall and winter.

The kitchen, with its live edge wood countertops, is a beautiful place to cook a meal. Or, have our nearby local fish market steam some fresh Maine lobsters for you. This is a close knit lakeside neighborhood on a private wooded camp road and your host lives nearby, as well. Come and experience lake living!

Little slice of heaven on a beautiful lake. So many spots around the house and property to enjoy a sunrise or hear the loons at night. Portland was an easy drive, which was awesome. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen was very well appointed. Host was very easy to interact with, check-in was very easy, and there wasn't a mile-long checkout list. Would definitely recommend this to a couple or 2 looking for a nice getaway.
