Welcome to your peaceful mountain vacation at Hilltop Nest! This one-bedroom cabin, with a loft, was built 50 years ago and has undergone a full renovation, keeping the original American Craftsman architectural charm. Nestled on 1.5 acres just a few miles outside of downtown Hendersonville! You'll be close to shops, restaurants, breweries, wineries, museums and much, much more!
The thoughtfully decorated cabin will embrace you from the moment you enter. Curl up in front of the gas fireplace for a romantic evening or stream a movie on the Firestick provided. The kitchen has the basics, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and mini fridge as well as a gas grill outside. You'll be able to sleep peacefully in the queen bed and there is a loft with 2 twin beds.
Head outside to enjoy a bonfire after a day of hiking, biking and exploring! Imagine hearing the birds chirping and the beauty of what the mountains have to offer.

Garden Nest guests may also use the A-Frame guest parking area. The A-Frame circular driveway can fit larger vehicles and trailers; drive slowly to avoid ruts. Timer and solar lighting help with nighttime visibility.

Quiet Policy: Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.
Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.
Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.

We enjoyed a quiet weekend away at Hilltop Nest. The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed a fire one night too. The only issue was the driveway - it is very steep and our front wheel drive almost didn't make it up. Just a heads up.

The home itself is cute, cozy, and very well-stocked, making it a comfortable place to stay. The loft adds charm, though it did get a bit warm at night even with the AC and fan running. The outdoor string lights are a lovely touch, giving the space a cozy glow in the evenings.A couple of things to note: the mosquitoes were quite aggressive, so be sure to bring repellent if you plan to enjoy the outdoor areas. The string lights are on a timer with no manual switch. And when exiting the driveway, just be mindful of the neighboring property, which might not feel as welcoming as the home itself.

Super little spot tucked away near downtown. Really high quality materials and workmanship used in the recent renovation. Does not feel cheap or thrown together like some rentals. Lots of attention to little details. Awesome fire pit with plenty of wood and everything to get it started, smores stuff, comfy bed, great porches and outdoor areas, really just a perfect cozy little space. Careful on the driveway if you have a low car but you can make it!
