Sashas Place Kenai River Alaskan Log Cabin with HOT TUB - Maintained Daily

Very comfortable house. Owners were attentive if we had any questions, but otherwise gave us our space. Very convenient location! We made use of the hot tub and fire pit. Lots of covered space to keep shoes, waders, boots, poles, etc. WiFi worked well.

The house was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating and available with any questions. We stayed with our huge group of family and had a blast. Will definitely want to come stay again.

Stay was great. Would have liked more amenities as far as cooking utensils and supplies. Grill was a charcoal grill so we had to buy charcoal, matches and lighter fluid. The hot tub on multiple occasions had shorted and the temps were not as hot as expected. The pictures of the property advertised made it seem like fishing access was on property. Locations ended up being great and working out, but may want to note that up front.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Alaskan property. The hosts were as advertised.. very receptive and gracious with their time and efforts. In fact, upon arrival, Angela went along with us for a ride to show us a few of the local fishing access spots. The pictures of the property itself are spot on with two significant exceptions. There is no river access directly from this property. Access to the river is on a neighboring property that is posted as private property. Also, the fish cleaning facility in the pictures is not the cleaning facility on this property. The one here is much smaller and elementary. The only thing lacking in the cabin itself is the fact that the kitchen is indeed small (though as pictured), and understocked for a cabin at this price range. We had a large group of 11 people, and often found ourselves either short of plates/bowls, or the materials that we needed to cook and bake with were simply not available. The hot tub and the fire pit were wonderful - and there was plenty of fresh cut wood for our use to make a fire. Overall, a very pleasant stay for our family.
