Set within the tranquil hamlet of Trelights, September Sea is an inviting cottage that ensures a homey atmosphere. Its proximity to the charming and classically picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, famously recognised as the backdrop for Doc Martin, further enhances its allure. This generously sized detached holiday home boasts four bedrooms and is conveniently located just a mere mile away from the beach.
The property features an expansive, open-plan sitting and dining area that offers ample seating and welcomes sunlight through large French doors. The living area boasts cosy seating arrangements and features an open fire, creating a warm nook for chilly evenings. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Additionally, the utility room can be found on the first floor and accommodates a washing machine, while the cloakroom offers an extra WC.
On the first floor, you will find four bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a private en-suite shower room. The second bedroom also offers a king-size bed, while the third bedroom has a single bed. Bedroom four includes a single bed with a trundle bed underneath, which is suitable for children. Completing the first floor is an extra family bathroom equipped with a bathtub and an overhead shower.
Outside, you'll discover a charming and enclosed courtyard garden adorned with lush tropical plants. This serene space is furnished with garden seating and features a charcoal barbecue, offering a wonderful setting for relaxing.
If you do decide to wander, the scenic southwest coastal walks will keep you walking for hours with its fresh air, sea breezes and miles of peaceful harmony, after all that walking you can choose from a plethora of brilliant eateries in the village. Just a 10-minute drive away from Port Gaverne beach, a quiet secluded area with plenty of space at low tide and countless rock pools to explore, this stunning holiday home offers the perfect base with easy access for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.

Lovely place to stay with friends. Super warm at all times, which was great during the cold weather and a great base for exploring Cornwall. Beds really comfortable and the whole house was well equipped. Would consider staying again.

September Sea is a good house in the lovely little place of Trelights, just about 10-15 minutes drive away from Polzeath beach, which our grandchildren use to go surfing, have rented this house for the last four years & it has always met our needs.

September Sea is extremely well located and has a well equipped kitchen. It is a very functional holiday home and not sure it would work for living in permanently. It was perfect for what we needed but the fridge is a little small and there were no oven gloves. On the whole, it was very comfortable, but it did feel a little tired in places (stains on rugs/sofa, and marks on paintwork). We would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

A well-kept house in a quiet, attractive and convenient location. The accommodation was fine for us as two couples, two infant grandchildren, and two cars, but, had our daughter have come with us - which had been our plan - we could not easily have accommodated the third car. The driveway will take two cars, but there is very little parking room in the road.
We have already recommended the house to friends.
