Long Bay Beach is known for its shallow turquoise waters, soft white sand, and steady breeze — making it ideal for kiteboarding, wingfoiling, paddleboarding, swimming, and relaxing away from the crowds. Ritama and Kabir were the most attentive and amazing hosts. They are a wonderful couple who made the reservation process smooth and easy. Any questions we had they were immediately available. Villa Esencia is absolutely beautiful and safe! The villas were decorated with gorgeous pottery barn furniture and the entire villa was spotless and modern. . The Villa Escencia grounds are stunning; gorgeous luscious greenery with palm trees surround the grounds and the private pool area in each villa. It was a 2 minute walk under the green tropical plants and palms to your own private beach. . The long bay beach is dreamy, prestige, calm, and so turquoise that it’s blinding. You can walk a mile and the water is waist deep. It is perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding, which was included with the villa as well, making it even more fun for our 3 boys! One day was windy and we saw a few kitesurfing which looks like so much fun. . We are avid travelers and have visited many beautiful beaches, Exuma, Tahiti, Riviera Maya etc… and I will be bold to say, the long bay beach at Villa Esencia is one of the worlds best beaches. . We will definitely return!

If you ate not a "big" resort family like us this is a great location. We rented 2 units that are connected by a private stair. Each unit has us own kitchen. Our 3 children stayed in the lower unit we stayed in the upper unit. Short walk to the beach on a well maintained path through some palm trees and natural cover. Very laid back property owners are very nice and I recommend getting to know them. It will make you appreciate the property even more. Units were like new condition. We cook alot and the only draw back is if you don't like to grill there is no stove(there is a 4 top electric burner in the kitchen but no stove). I actually prefer grilling so it was not an issue for us. Sun rises were amazing! You can walk a mile ( no aggregation!) out into the water at low tide. We have stayed on the north side of the island before (Grace Bay) and prefer this beach. I would visit here before it becomes to popular, which it appears is happening as you can't keep something so nice quiet for ever.
