About this house rental
On the side of the cottage you will discover a stairway leading to this recently remodeled one bedroom apartment completely private and independent of the rest of the house.
The fantastic deck has a BBQ grill, table, 2 chairs to enjoy meals, umbrellas and large hammock.
The comfy interior has a full kitchen stocked with everything you could need. The dining area is next to the large sliding doors creating the feeling of being outdoors. Sit and relax in the living area on a fun bean bag or full size couch and watch the 50 inch smart TV.
The bedroom suite has a queen bed with quality linens and full bath with shower. There is also a window air conditioner to keep extra cool.
The beach access is steps away and St Armand's is a quick walk. The location can't be beat. It's the perfect little beach get-away!
Parking is available for up to 3 cars in tandem on the right side of the driveway.
There is also a side yard for the apartment to use if guests ant to be outside at ground level. There is a nice picnic table under shade trees and a horseshoe pit.
Beach towels, rolling cooler and chairs are provided for a day at the beach accessed by the adjacent path. Someone said " it takes less time to walk from the house to the sand than it does to walk from the beginning of the sand to the water"
Yep....you are that close!
The beach access is next to the side yard. Walk out....turn left....cross the street and you are on the sand :)
Cruiser bikes are provided for touring around Lido key!!
If an entire week is not in your vacation schedule please email me.......I can accommodate the nights needed then block the calendar for a total of 7 nights to comply with Lido Beach rules!

We absolutely loved our stay at “The Cozy Cottage” on Lido Key! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The upstairs 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment was spotless, cozy, light, airy, and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and even the washer and dryer had everything we needed to feel completely at home during our stay.
One of the best parts was the location — literally just steps from the beautiful white sand beach. Morning walks, sunsets, shell collecting, and relaxing by the water were all so easy and convenient. The host also thoughtfully provided everything needed for the beach in the garage, including chairs, towels, coolers, carts, and more, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
The apartment truly had a warm “home away from home” feel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and every little detail was carefully thought out. We also loved being just a short walk from beautiful St. Armands Circle, with its amazing restaurants, shops, and atmosphere.
Lisa was absolutely wonderful — extremely helpful, responsive, and excellent with communication throughout our stay. She truly made us feel welcome and cared for. She is the best!
This property was exactly as described — honestly, even better in person. We would absolutely stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway on Lido Key.

This Vrbo was incredible and was exactly as described and more!!! Everything you needed for beach time! (chairs, towels, coolers, & carts) The 1 min walk to beach was a dream - the morning walks and nightly sunsets that were spectacular! (and lots of shells to collect!) Shops and restaurants at St Armands Circle so close (walk, bike, or 2 min drive) and wonderful food options. We did grill out one night - the grill on the deck was great! So many little extras and the bed was so comfortable!!! My husband slept like a baby and I was up before he was our whole stay (never happens!) We also visited the Sarasota Botanical Gardens which were beautiful and Siesta Key beach - but our favorite beach was right in our back yard - Lido Beach! Also ice cream food and drink concessions area right on the beach. (or pack a cooler ) We will be back and can not thank out host enough!!!

Overall it was really good we chose this unit for the location on Lido Key as we know the area well and knew we could walk to the beach, the public pool and St Armands so it was great in that respect I knew from the pictures the angles of the bathroom and bedroom might be a problem as I am 6-1 and it was a little worse than I thought it would be, my wife was fine as she is shorter. The other problem was the bed it was not very comfortable the mattress has definitely seen it’s better days and the bed and a good nights sleep are very important for us in our stays so all in all it was a good unit in a great location.
