The place is starting to be a bit dated and worn but I would stay there again because I love walking 15 feet to a pool. Probably possible to go without a car for a few days if you just want to chill because the area is getting so many restaurants, but you still need a car to sight see.

We all 4 needed a “get-away,” and this place brought us a sense of relaxation and peacefulness. Beautiful property. On the expensive side of things, but glad we sprung for it.

The property itself was lovely. However, it was listed as “wheelchair accessible” which it was NOT! The agent did send a note saying there was a “small threshold” at the entrance which I took to mean a “saddle” (there is no way to add a photo) However, when we arrived, it was a decently high step (3-1/2-4 inches) Because I had to depend on my son to lift my mobility device in and out, it greatly detracted from my enjoyment of this otherwise beautiful property. We would not have rented if it had not been listed as “wheelchair accessible”. It has since been removed from that designation. “Wheelchair accessible” means NO STEPS to get in and NO STEPS inside the unit. VRBO might want to make that guideline clear to owners/agents Thank you

This lovely condo is perfect for families who want to relax by the pool, enjoy a short walk to the beach (at the Sheraton), or enjoy all that southern Kauai has to offer. The complex only has a few units, so it's quiet and you basically have the pool to yourself most of the time. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in & cook and the "beach closet" has everything you need to go out on adventures! We would come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed last year in this property but another unit. Love the property, pool is beautiful and well maintained. Grills and selection of beach toys made our stay even better. Would stay again in this property during future Kauai visits.

If you read this, book this unit. This unit is located within a quiet 6 unit building. The smaller size condo facility means minimal issues with crowded pool and peaceful mornings and sunsets. You can’t beat this location. It’s walkable (about 7 minutes) to the Sheraton beach or 5 min drive to the best boogie boarding beach (Brennecke) House is homey, has all the goodies (sunscreen/boards/watershoes/towels/beach toys), kitchen has everything you could need Love the removable shower heads for easy post beach showers. Washer and dryer work great. Note: the dryer does have a loud long signal when done. I couldn’t figure out how to turn off. I don’t think you can. The views are breath taking. Sunsets shine here. Does have AC but you can also open the door in the primary bedroom to enjoy the trade winds Our only thoughts on what could be better: the mattresses and pillows. Nothing compares to your own bed but these beds were very firm. The pillows flat. That aside, we would rebook this house in a heartbeat. If you read all this, I hope you realize what a great unit this is.

It would be difficult to find a better location than this intimate six-plex location directly on the ocean with private pool. Complete transaction and stay were seamless and easy. My only wish for this property is to have some more comfortable seating for the Lanai. This is where people want to enjoy this location and standard aluminum chairs are just uncomfortable for relaxing or reading. Still a five star stay!

The views of the property were amazing. Alihi Lani 2 was well stocked with any essentials you need for your stay. The boogie boards, sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes and umbrella in the cabinet were a nice surprise. The AC in the unit was also a nice touch. We enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the balcony and seeing the sea turtles in the ocean right in front of the condo. The condo is also located walking distance to markets and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Kauai.

This unit was wonderful! Spectacular views! Super clean, beautiful decor, very well stocked. There was a shelf that had bug spray, sunblock, and toothpaste as well! Showers had shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap. There were plenty of bed linens, pillows, and towels! It really felt like home. The only reason I knocked down to 4 stars was a more personal preference....making these small changes would make this unit go from Amazing to PERFECT: adding the smaller beach chairs (there were two large camping chairs that we felt were too big for beach lounging so we didn't use them), adding a wagon to supplies closet would be super helpful for the renters! And maybe a more private door to the main bedroom would be nice. Overall, we would definitely want to stay here again!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay. The location was great. We enjoyed eating meals on the patio with the gorgeous view. Easy walk to the shopping center and the beach at the Sheraton. And a highlight was the turtles swimming right out front! We would definitely stay here again!

Property is exactly as described and this is our second time staying in this location. It’s perfect waking distance to a very nice beach and a shopping center with lots of food options. The condo has most everything you need to be very comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool. Views from the lanai can’t be beat!
