We are excited to share our beautiful home with you.
Also, here are some very pertinent rules that we need to tell you about. There are a few strict rules in Lake Tahoe that you should be aware about (parking & noise) and a few house rules that we've put in place to ensure that you and other guests have a wonderful time at our home. They are all listed below. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always around to help.
PS. We highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance! You can purchase travel insurance here: https://www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/.

MANDATORY HOUSE RULES:

• Do not park anywhere on the property other than the actual asphalt parking spots. The sheriff's department can fine you up to $1000 for parking on anything other than the street or driveway. DO NOT park on the dirt. There is only enough parking for up to 4-5 vehicles in the driveway (depending on snow levels). In the summer, you can park on the street, but we don't recommend bringing any more than 5 vehicles with you to the home. Please carpool!

• There are very strict noise ordinances in the county. Quiet hours are from 10pm - 9am every day. After 10pm noise needs to be under 40 dB which is library quiet. This means that we do not permit any congregating outside (even in the hot tub) after 10pm. If the neighbors call the Sheriff, you can be fined up to $1,000! This is no laughing matter and we’d hate for you to get a $1,000 fine. If the owners are fined separately, that cost will be passed on to the guests renting the home.

• Absolutely NO SMOKING on the property. If you are a smoker, we ask that you take a walk and smoke. Our neighbors are very strict on this and will report smoking. Please let others enjoy the beauty and smell of the outdoors, not of your cigarettes or cigars.

• If you have dogs, you must pick up their waste and dispose of it in a plastic bag. We will not tolerate anything less. Please also make sure there is no excessive barking.

• Any trash from your visit must be picked up and disposed of in the bear can. Please do not leave ANY trace or trash on the property when you leave. Keep the forest the way you found it! Bears have an incredible sense of smell and are very resourceful. If they smell food in your car they will break in. Please do not leave any food outside the house other than the bear bins.

Thank you for your cooperation. We want you to have a wonderful time at our home. We just ask that you be responsible guests. Please confirm that you have received this message and that you agree to abide by these rules. Thank you and we look forward to hosting you for a wonderful vacation!

Thank you,
Doug and Grace Vanesko

We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful Tahoe property! Upon arrival, there was a small issue where the accommodations weren’t quite ready, but the owner, Doug, was incredibly responsive and accommodating. He made sure everything was taken care of quickly, and we really appreciated his efforts to ensure our stay was still smooth and enjoyable. The property itself is stunning, and the setting was perfect for a summer getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and appliances we needed, which made cooking a breeze. My family and pets had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying everything this property had to offer.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped retreat in Tahoe!

It is a great property and the host was very helpful and easy to work with. There are plenty of places for people to sleep so good for large groups. We had 2 couples and the rest were 20-23 year olds who were happy to share rooms and sleep on bunk beds. The only hard thing for 2 couple is there is only one bedroom with an

This is a beautiful house. I would not consider any of it LUXURY as it is repeatedly described, but it is beautiful and a great location. The first thing that should have been very clearly stated is that you must go down a steep set of stairs from where you park to get in the house. There is no other place to park and get in. We had older family members and my grandma who is in a wheelchair, so it was very difficult and dangerous to get them in and out of the house. We stayed over Christmas week and it was very cold and icy. I absolutely would not have chose this house for this particular vacation if I had known that. There also is no blinds or window coverings on ANY of the windows except for the game room. All bedrooms and living room are clearly visible by neighboring houses. It’s also bright in every bedroom as soon as the sun came up. The kitchen has a very large fridge, which was very convenient for our group since we cooked at the house most days, but only two burners on the stove worked and the shelf in the oven is broken, so all pans slide to the oven door. I had to buy pans and cookie sheets because almost everything in the cabinets was old ceramic that food stuck to, or scratched and rusted. There was a variety of appliances which was also useful. The living room only has one couch, not two as pictured, so everyone had to sit on the hardwood floor or barstools to watch TV together. The owner let himself in one morning which was a surprise to us and inappropriate.

kitchen/great room, rooms, beds, bathrooms, deck all great. One note: the pull out bed in the Rec room was too dirty to use-we had a spare blow up so used that instead. Stove/oven in kitchen great. Could not get pizza oven to stay lit even changing tanks to a full one. Could not get BBQ or fire pit to light. Tank was fine-we took it down to the Beach and BBQ'd there. Loved time at TP Beach! Returned access card under large bear on top of pantry cupboard.
