About this house rental
Ideally situated between two of Cape Ann's most beautiful beaches, this ideal vacation rental home is a mere 3-minute walk to Long Beach and an 8-minute walk to Good Harbor Beach. The home has a single level and an open floor plan that offers convenience and practicality.
The location for this beach house is especially convenient to many local amenities. In addition to the beaches, in one direction there are super markets, coffee shops, family restaurants and the rest of Gloucester beyond. In the other direction is Rockport, with it famous village center of shops, eateries, art galleries, and the Shalin Liu performance center.
1,402 Sq. Ft. No pets. No smoking.
Living Room: A sunny room with large windows, this room contains a 55” flat screen TV, a decorative fireplace, a large sofa, and a rocking chair.
Kitchen: The kitchen contains granite counter tops, recently updated stainless appliances, and a gas range. The kitchen opens on to the adjacent dining room.
Dining Room: Dining area seats 6 and is between the kitchen and living room.
Sun Room: This bonus room is filled with light with a pull-out sofa for additional sleeping space. There is also a card table and a sliding door to the back yard and deck.
Full Bathroom: Contains both tub and shower.
Half Bathroom: Doubles as the laundry room, with the washer and dryer.
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with King bed and a sliding door to the deck.
Bedroom 2: Queen bedroom.
Bedroom 3: Queen bedroom.
EXTERIOR
The deck overlooks the spacious yard and features a patio dining set with an umbrella for shade. There is also a gas grill, additional outdoor seating, and a cold-water outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after the beach.

This place is very cute with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. The sunroom doubles as a 4th bedroom with a pull out couch. The place is a lot bigger inside than it seems from the photo of the outside. Everything was very clean with plenty of closet space. The rooms have ceiling fans that help keep it a little cooler. However, it was pretty hot when we were there so air conditioning would have made the stay perfect. The walk to the beach was just a few minutes and Long Beach is much more quiet than Good Harbor. Shed out back has a beach cart and chairs. Clothes line is there to hang wet towels. Check in was easy. Kitchen was fairly well stocked - maybe some wine glasses would be nice. WiFi was not great. TV kept pausing and waiting to catch up to itself so that was annoying. However, from what I understand WiFi is not great on the entire island so you'd probably get the same service anywhere in Gloucester or Rockport. Overall, really liked this place - clean, plenty of space, great location to walk to beach. Only downfalls were A/C and WiFi. I would go back and I would recommend this house for a nice stay.

We arrived near midnight on our check in day after a long trip and delays, and the house had been closed up and was hot. I was concerned about the lack of AC, though as long as you are ok with having windows open it’s really not needed given how close to the water the house is. It’s a safe area but you do need to be ok with using fresh air cooling. In the light of day it was a very nice property in a great location. It’s a safe and easy walk to both Long Beach and good harbor. It’s 300 feet from the most popular ice cream place in the area. The property is spotless and well organized and the landscaping is charming. The management company is very organized and communicated well whenever we had a question.

We happened to pick great weather. had a great clean house to stay in beds were good appliances were all in good order (did not ise dishwasher)..plenty of hot water had great rides on whale boats and schooner good fish meals close to beach flat walk for senior citizen no complaints

We have been vacationing in Cape Ann for over 30 years and this by far was the best so far! The vacation house was perfect! Large enough for the 4 adults and 2 children. The availability of beach toys, chairs, and beach cart were super helpful. We will definitely book this location again in the future.
