This property is spacious and so conveniently located! We were only a few steps from the beach, and there is access on either end of the street. We had plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Surfside.

I thought this was a great property. The place was clean - but still needs some work. You could tell that the property owners just took possession and were trying to bring it up to snuff. The biggest piece that people need to keep in mind is that you do not get both levels. The VRBO ad paints the picture that when you rent the unit, you're renting the entire unit, both levels and this is not the case.
That said, each floor is very spacious, the bedrooms are quite nice, and the main living space is very spacious. I would definitely recommend the 3rd floor unit as this catches the breeze from the ocean beautifully.
I am sure that as the owners continue to fix the items in the unit and modernize it (such as fixing the refrigerator so that it makes ice and water) it will become an even better rental than it already is.

I enjoyed staying in the Surfside Beach area, but the listing led me to believe I was paying for oceanfront. Instead the property was located with a side ocean view (barely). Also, the hot water was warm at best in the house.
