--WHY THE NAME SALT & LIGHT--
Salt & Light Vacations is a small Christian, family operated, vacation rental business in Panama City Beach, Florida, which bases its business and practices by living out Matthew 5:13-16 in which Jesus told His followers to be Salt and Light to the earth. We want to reflect Jesus in everything we do and to reflect Him to every guest that stays at our property. You can be certain you are booking with owners that are honest and trustworthy. It is a ministry of ours to make sure you have a wonderful experience. So, when you book with us you can be certain that you know what you are getting.
How did we decide to begin Salt & Light Vacations? Well, our family loves the SALT water, the LIGHT of the sun, and we have been going to Panama City Beach all of our lives and we love it! We are a family that God has called to serve His Church in full time ministry as Pastor and family. So, in the fall of 2019 we bought a little piece of Panama City Beach for our family to enjoy a few weeks a year but also to share with others through short term rentals to bless other families with a Christian operated, affordable, clean, family friendly vacation to relax in God’s Creation while building memories that will last for a lifetime! You are sure to love Salt & Light so much that you will want to come back year after year!

Overview:
Master Bedroom: King Bed with memory foam mattress, flat screen tv, balcony, and on suite bath.
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed with pillow top mattress and XL Twin bunk beds with memory foam mattresses (sturdy and comfortable enough for adults- top bunk is best suited for teenagers and children)
Bathrooms: 2 full baths and a half bath with tankless hot water heater so you will never run out of hot water.
Living Room: 2 reclining Sofas, flat screen smart tv, and wifi.
Kitchen: Stainless Appliances, granite countertops, gas stove, and fully furnished to prepare meals.
Laundry: Front load washer and gas dryer.

After a day in the sun and the sand, find relief from the elements in the spacious living room. Complete with a flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, & 2 Reclining Sofas which make the living room a perfect location for the whole family to enjoy with all the comforts of home.
If you don’t want to enjoy one of PCB’s wonderful restaurants, then stay home for the evening and prepare a family meal in the fully updated and furnished kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, or grill a feast out on the back patio on the gas grill.
After a full day of playing in the water and all of the attractions in Panama City Beach, retire to the bedrooms for a restful night on comfortable beds. You deserve it because you are on vacation!
Each day of your vacation you will enjoy the amenities at Gulf Highlands Resort which includes the most beautiful beach, 11 pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, miniature golf, shuffleboard courts, a lake and canal to fish for bream, bass, and catfish (no permit or license required), and an exercise room which will all provide you with an unforgettable vacation.
Ask about our Golf Cart rental for use on the property during your stay! While the walk to the beach is only 7 minutes, you will really enjoy riding around the property in the golf cart parked in front of the unit. The golf cart is available only to be used on Gulf Highlands Resort property.

Venture into town after sunset and experience many opportunities for family fun on the Panama City Beach strip, Pier Park, restaurants, or just go next door to Rockit Lanes for bowling, the arcade, or roller skating.
Enjoy a fishing trip out into the Gulf of Mexico with a deep-sea fishing excursion just 10 minutes from the property. Check out the shark fishing trip where you can catch large sharks right off the beach with Off The Beach Shark Fishing Trips (search Facebook).

We will definitely be back again in the summer! The home is beautifully decorated, management and owner are a dream to work with, the price is wonderful for the amenities that you receive, I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. The only negative thing that I have to point out is that the air conditioner doesn’t keep the lower level cool enough, so it gets a little warm while cooking. Other than that, we have no complaints. Thank for the lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! Everything was very clean and it was nice that they left us beach towels to use. The host was responsive with every question we had. We had a question about the golf cart and he called right away to help us figure it out. The only thing I would say negative is that we needed more silverware while we were there. Five forks is not enough for a family of five for five days. Overall, it was a fantastic trip. Pools are absolutely wonderful when you want something other than the beach. Golf cart was very convenient getting around the resort. We would definitely stay here again!! Great job to the wonderful host.

The place was spotless and no surprises. Great location. Everything was as listed, and host made everything easy. The property manager lives in the same complex, so that's very helpful if you need anything. Very nice to park right in front of the door, and to have an extra space for guests. The community has a fun vibe; lots of families at the pool and playing pickleball. It felt very homey. Highly recommend.

We came to FL to check on my parents for a long weekend visit. This rental is in a gated community which is a huge plus. It had a golf cart which we didn't use. We contacted the number on the fridge and we received a QUICK response and the cart was moved in less than 5 minutes!!! The moment you walk in you see the gorgeous main level. Then upstairs there is a Master bedroom with a balcony and private bathroom. The beds were super comfy. We didn't spend much time here except to sleep and shower so we did not use the kitchen or anything else. It is perfectly located! Super close to the beach, food and PIER PARK (which has everything)!!!
