ESCAPE to Waterwheel Resort Condominiums in Beautiful New Braunfels, Texas. Our COMFORTABLE, RELAXING and well-equipped condominium is located on the banks of the Guadalupe River just 5 blocks from Schlitterbahn Water Park and the Comal River. You will be amazed at all there is to do here. IMAGINE yourself RELAXING in one of our 2 SWIMMING POOLS or 4 HOT TUBS. There are picnic tables and BBQ grills located under the Pecan trees next to the pool/hot tub area in a large, beautiful park-like setting.
Our CLEAN (see our reviews) 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is located on the 3rd floor (just 35 steps from the elevator) overlooking the park-like setting, pool and the Guadalupe River. You will enjoy this relaxing view from the large balcony which can be accessed directly from the living room. It is a great place to enjoy a good book and a hot cup of coffee in the morning or a cold beverage in the afternoon or evening with friends and/or family members.
Inside the living area you will find a very comfortable leather sleeper sofa (with a memory foam mattress) and love seat to relax on while you watch cable TV on the 50” smart screen LCD TV. In the fully stocked kitchen you will find everything you need. There is a Kuerig coffeemaker with pods as well as a drip coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, coffee, assorted creamers and sweeteners.
In the master bedroom you will find a large flat screen television. The bathrooms also were upgraded when built with custom counter tops and custom tiled showers. The master bedroom has a KING size bed and the second bedroom has a Queen size bed.
Both bedrooms have plenty of closet space with extra blankets and pillows. Washer and dryer are available for your use as well.
You will also enjoy have a reserved parking place next to the elevator.
NOW, more reasons why you should come to New Braunfels for a RELAXING and FUN-FILLED VACATION. Literally blocks(walking distance) from Waterwheel Resort is the #1 WATERPARK in the country….SCHLITTERBAHN!! New Braunfels is also home to great shopping and nearby wineries. If TUBING or KAYAKING on the river and playing at Schlitterbahn are not enough, famous Gruene shopping, Gruene Dance Hall (Texas’ oldest dance hall) and iconic Gristmill Restaurant are just minutes away (3 miles) in Gruene, Texas.
The charming Texas Hill Country has an abundance of things to do as well. Fishing and water sports are also available at picturesque Canyon Lake. Still need more to do? The #1 OUTLET MALL in the country is located just a short 10 minute drive up Interstate 35 in nearby San Marcos along with the San Marcos River. On the plus side Greg was very prompt getting back to us. We went tubing and the location was perfect. Loved the balcony and the views. Negative side. For 400 for only ten hours, you would think it would be spotless and smell nice. After removing the bed sheets the next day and taking out the trash, we saw a lot of debris underneath the bed and the coffee makers had to be dirty and not well maintained because the coffee was terrible. All appliances and floors need a good scrubbing. I was hesitant to even shower there. Think about the price… we could have stayed at a five star resort for the price, but we do appreciate the host.
