Enjoyed jacuzzi and everything was clean and lots of place to sleep.

House is large w/ bedrooms across 3 floors. There is no AC and fans are not adquate to cool the upper floors during the day in the summer. We had a challenge checking in (which was partly our fault), as check-in instructions were sent almost two weeks before our stay. Also took a while to get hold of manager to get in. Basic supplies were also not adequate requring us to purchase them. House is in a good location if we want easy access to Arrowhead's central plaza and brewery.

Had a blast with our family here. Do wish the kitchen was more organized with updated cooking/dishes/utensils, but we survived. Will also warn other renters to bring additional towels to use in the hot tub. Very few towels are provided with the property. Overall a great experience.

Had a great time here with our group celebrating our friend's good health. Great accommodations, and location was perfect, but ran into a couple issues where we couldn't get in touch with the property manager in a timely manner, and a couple of things were broken upon our arrival that meant we could not use them. There were also not enough fans in the house for every room so some folks had difficulty sleeping in the heat. The property manager was very kind when we did manage to make contact, and accepted responsibility for these minor things. All in all we had a great weekend here.

The property was perfect for my family for a wedding at lake arrowhead. Beautiful area.

We chose this house to stay at for my best friends bachelorette party so there were 8 of us staying at the house. This house is perfect walking distance to the Lake Arrowhead Village. The beds in the home were all very comfortable and the layout of the house is so unique. We loved spending time in the billiards room above the garage, By the fireplace in the living room, and in the spa area downstairs. The host was also excellent at responding quickly to any of my questions or needs and is very polite. The only things I could suggest to you when renting here is there is downside to the spa room meaning you had to dump out the water tray to the dehumidifier almost every hour and they could definitely add some extra towels, toilet paper, and paper towels for each persons stay. Other than those tiny little things, everything was AMAZING! My girlfriends and I did have a absolutely wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. It’s the perfect place for any get togethers to feel like you’re cozy in the woods spending quality time together.

This house has the capacity to sleep quite a number of people. We were just 5, 2 couples and a single, celebrating a Birthday weekend getaway. The appliances needed attention (exhaust fan over the stove, jets in the spa) but the outdoor deck was spectacular! It's a pricey stay but more people to share the cost might have been better. Also the amount of stairs for 55 and over needs to be mentioned as well.

We were certainly open to "paying up" for additional amenities that other properties did not provide. However, upon our arrival we were disappointed to find that many things at this home did not work properly or were not functional at all. As a result, we feel that we significantly over paid for our stay. Below is a list of items that did not work: 1) Barbeque: someone had left the gas on and when we arrived, there was absolutely no propane left in the tank. We could not barbeque the food we had brought. This was the most significant disappointment as we had to pre plan our meals since we were not eating out due to the pandemic. We emailed the property owner during our stay about this with no response. We had to cook our food on scratched up pans that were provided instead. 2) Pool table: there was no chalk to play pool. We were looking specifically for a home with a pool table and there wasn't a store in town that carried it. 3) Hot tub: it never got to the 100 degrees as advertised. Only one jet worked. This was another amenity that we specifically shopped for and were disappointed that we could not use. We got in once and were so disappointed, we didn't bother going in again. *Also there is mold on the ceiling of this room. That is a significant health hazard. 4) Toaster: it only toast a half side of the bread. We had to toast each serving 4 times constantly toasting to get it right. 5) Knife: there was a very dangerous knife that we had to throw out. When we attempted to use it to cut something, the blade came out of the handle. We could have been seriously hurt. 6) Ceiling fan in dining room: we really struggled to get it to work. Considering that there is no A/C in the home and that we were there during 90 degree+ temperatures, this was very uncomfortable. We did bring out the portable fans provided but they were not sufficient enough to cool down the dining area. Lastly, the house was not as clean as we would have hoped for when we arrived, particularly in the kitchen. Inside the China cabinet, it was extremely dusty and many of the cooking utensils were sticky. We washed everything once before we used them. We did not wash the blender because we never intended to use it but, it was difficult to look at while we were in the kitchen. Just not worth the money spent.

The best features of this property are its location and its size. It's within walking distance to the village which is nice. It's also large with lots of unique spaces which is great for large groups. The owner, Kevin, is very responsive to any questions and/or issues. The property could benefit from some updates. Also, if a grill is important, please check with the Kevin as the grill was inoperable during our stay.

Property is definitely more than it seems. It’s actually pretty big and can probably fit a few people in their comfortable. We had a lot of fun property owner was very responsive and helpful with what ever we needed answered before and during the stay. Really recommend staying here and will definitely be back at a later date.

We stayed over NYE with my family who where visiting from out of town. My mother got the place and surprised us. Overall we had a good experience and a blast with the family! I will try and give the real benefits and negatives of the place. We do thank Kevin for letting us stay at his warm and cozy house. Benefits -the place is spacious and there are lots of nooks. -location is good -Kevin is available to help you solve problems. -The hot tub is amazing! -kids room and bunk beds are great and updated. -Early checkin, very nice and welcoming Negatives -We knew the place was not totally updated and I felt it was cute. One unusable futon bed, because It was hard and small. the other futon room was functional. husband and I took the downstairs bedroom that has old blinds that let in lots, of light in, the morning. -The first day was a winter experience, everything was iced over, we spent hours chiseling ice from all the entry stairs and the driveway and had to use chains , as Kevin had recommended.. Kevin was very responsive and called his handyman , Steve was great, he brought salt and threw a bunch down . All porches and other stairs are still covered with snow and ice (which we didn’t mind, we liked the snow) My only hope is in the future knowing there there is snow and ice the handyman leaves salt and possibly clears some ice. -hot tub, we had trouble for the first day figuring out how to fill it. We had to go to porch and chisel ice to connect a hose, put it through a window and fill. Overall the tub is super finicky (buttons hard to get to work) but when it’s working it’s the best! The ‘Spa Lady” , Dagmar, stopped and was soo kind and helpful. -the spiral staircase to the top is really narrow, no children or elderly can go up there All in all we had a great time the views are very beautiful, gas fireplace very cozy, heating good and lots of hot water. location is wonderful, kitchen and all appliances work. Plenty of dishes and utensils available. Blankets and towels for everyone. Even extra paper towels, dish washing liquid, This is a great year round place for large family gathering.

We stay at multiple homes and by far this has been the worst experience ever! We come to Make Arrowhead yearly and this place is terrible. If you enjoy a clean, comfortable and warm home this is not for you. The kitchen didnt have plenty of utensils or cooking supplies such as pots and pans. We had to wash everything by hand prior to actually using the items as they were not clean at all. The dishwasher doesn't work so we ended up washing by hand. Its clear the management team does not care for the property nor The experience of the renters. The sofa facing the tv smells and would benefit from a make over. The tv located by the fire place didnt work. The decor and style is dingy. You are literally entering a previous era. The spirall stairwell to the upper level rooms is dangerours and I'm young! The rooms upstairs are old, beds are uncomfortable and the ceilings are low (we are below average height). The jazucci was not working for the first 2 days. The house is in a good location and the kids room and their bathroom was up to date. Parking wa good. Overall I would not recommend this property and felt embarrassed as we organized this trip for our family. I kept apologizing to my family but we made the best out of it. I encourage any to contact me if you have any quetions about this property but dont stay here!
