About this house rental
Escape into the Portuguese nature, in the middle of our eco-responsible and totally "self-built" farmhouse. A house for 4 people that inspires "simplicity" and originality". Here there is no luxury but "natural", "recovery" and imagination". Basic comfort, a "warm" house :)
In addition, a beautiful shaded and covered terrace for winter and summer.
Enjoy the peace and quiet and visit the historic surroundings of our beautiful region (Penamacor, Penha Garcia, Monsanto, Sabugal, Sortelha, Belmonte). This house is located just 5 minutes drive from our village with its restaurants and shops. For the summer? Come and recharge your batteries near the river beaches that we have nearby: waterfalls, dams, swimming pools and natural lakes:)
In this farm of more than 3 hectares you can walk wherever you want while respecting the privacy of other travelers (another cottage is located 60 meters away) AND our main house is about 300 meters away.
For animals, if you want to greet them, let us know so that we can accompany you for the first time. Sheep, goats and chickens that have young can be aggressive. Never leave your children unattended and enter the enclosures alone. They are under your responsibility.
*Our farm tries to be as ecologically responsible as possible. We ask you to use ecological products (creams, soaps, shampoos, etc.) in order to protect our fauna and flora.
*Our home, by design, remains cool in summer. We still provide a fan in each room. In winter, we put warm bathrobes and a wood stove to warm up your bedrooms and the living room.
