About this lodge
We are excited to share our property with you. Join us at our new lodging facility with luxury accommodations. The location of our lodge will have you enjoying every inch of what Rome has to offer:
• 5 minutes to Sand Valley and Lake Arrowhead golf courses
• Walk across the street to the new splash pad, mini golf and playground for families to enjoy
• Highly popular Rome Farmers Market and Pritzl's Trading Post is just one block away
• ATV/snowmobile and biking trails 500 feet from our driveway
Opened in Summer 2021, Rome Away from Home Vacation lodge is by far the most unique and premier location in Rome!
At a spacious 1,500 square feet, Alpine Lodge features a large covered patio and beautiful yard. Luxury sleeping for 10 adults and/or children, fully equipped kitchen, living room and kitchen with comfortable seating for 10, large flat screen TV and gas fireplace to enjoy at the end of a busy day. Inside you will find top of the line furnishings, bedding, and linens as well as washer and dryer for your longer stays.
Alpine consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a pull out sofa.
Each bedroom is equipped with its own flat screen TV and luxury bedding so you can wind down in the privacy of your own suite if you so choose.
Bedroom 1 - King bed with private bathroom and walk in shower.
Bedroom 2 - 1 Queen Bed
Bedroom 3 - 2 Queen Beds
You won’t find another location like this in Rome.
This is a wonderful location for golfers, ATV and snowmobile groups, wedding parties, couples weekends, ladies weekends, weekend lake goers, fishing trips, families and much more.
Spend the day exploring what Rome has to offer, then come home to enjoy dinner & drinks on the patio.
Check-in & check-out are easy with key code entry. You will have full access to the lodge including the outdoor area.
There is a large blacktop parking lot for your ATVs, snowmobiles, boats and fat tire bikes.
Rome Away from Home does offer two private and secure, side by side vacation lodges. Alpine and Fairway.
Have a larger group? Please let us know if you are interested in booking both units. Alpine and Fairway need to be booked separately.
Both lodges are under the same roof, but each lodge has its own completely safe and private entrance, private patios, living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms.

The location and the property was perfect for our group of 15 golfers. Our entire group thought I made a great choice for our family/friends annual golf weekend. Only suggestion would be to keep the grass cut low. Our group loves to play outdoor games such as bags/cornhole, and it just wasn't enticing to play in fairly long grass, so we didn't. Overall, though, place was great and Sarah, my contact, was super helpful and responsive!!
