Villa dei Desideri is situated on private grounds surrounded by the typical beauty of the Salento scrub, featuring holm oaks, maritime pines, carob trees, wild lilies, and centuries-old olive trees.
It overlooks the white, fine-sand beaches of the “Maldives of Salento,” just a 10-minute walk away, and is only a few minutes from Marina di Pescoluse, which features supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, and more.
Villa dei Desideri is a newly built property constructed according to traditional methods, yet equipped with modern technology and luxurious amenities. The building’s facades are clad in Salento stone, ensuring the interiors remain cool year-round; the rooms feature high barrel vaults; and the driveways and outdoor paving are crafted from select stones and enhanced by the beauty of traditional local stone walls that run throughout the property. The property is equipped with burglar alarms and outdoor video surveillance, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and an air conditioning system.
The villa is accessed via a main entrance, with an adjacent shaded parking area for two cars, and a secondary entrance leading to a second parking area.
The villa features two bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with two single beds (which can be converted into a double)—a modern kitchen (induction cooktop, large refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and all necessary kitchen amenities), a full bathroom with a shower, and an outdoor bathroom with a toilet.
The spacious outdoor porch, furnished with a seating area and a table (seating up to 8 people), overlooks a stunning private saltwater pool equipped with a whirlpool, a shower, and sun loungers.
Outside, the barbecue area features a spacious dining space equipped with a table and a sail-shaped canopy.
The villa has a terrace, which can be used as a sun deck, offering breathtaking views of the Salento coastline. The spacious private grounds feature lighting designed to highlight the beauty of the English-style lawns, stone pathways, olive trees, and the pool. We enjoyed our time at this lovely bright home. The pool provided great tranquilly and refreshment on hot days after touring. The distant view of the sea also lovely. Beaches are a very short drive or little longer walk. It’s a good space for small family. Note there is no indoor living room space but with the great climate we preferred sitting outside as much as possible anyway. Comfortable mattresses. Friendly owner.

The villa is very attractive in lovely grounds with a great pool and stunning views of the sea. It is very small (no indoor lounge) but has everything you could need for a great holiday - very well equipped, comfortable beds, washing machine, bbq and lots of parking.

Overall the house and stay in Marina di Pescoluse was fantastic. Checking in procedure worked well. The owner met up by the house on the agreed time. The house is clean and simple with the basics you need for a summer stay. For the crinkled shirts, the iron was good, an ironing board would have been even better.
The pool was great, and necessary given the high temperatures in July. It was cleaned by the owners a couple of times during our one week stay. Walking to the beach takes around 20 minutes. The water is amazing but beaches are very crowded.

The location is great and very quiet. The beach, supermarket and restaurants can be reached on foot.
Minor Problems at the house was immediately fixed by the nice and helpful host Maurizio. Even when I mishandled the stove, Maurizio came right away and fixed it.
