This beautiful property with a shared swimming pool, built entirely from tuffeau stone, offers the utmost comfort for a truly enjoyable stay! It features a light-filled living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a mezzanine sleeping area and, finally, a spacious garden with two south-facing terraces where you can enjoy al fresco dining with family or friends. The accommodation is laid out as follows:
Living area:
- A large, light-filled living area featuring a seating area with sofas, including a double sofa bed, a coffee table, a TV, a beautiful working stone fireplace, and a raised dining area that seats up to 6 people and offers direct access to the terrace.
- A modern, fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room: fridge, dishwasher, freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine… You’ll also find a minibar with a safe.
Sleeping area:
- A bedroom with a queen-size bed, access to the outside and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a large washbasin, storage space, a hairdryer, a heated towel rail and a toilet.
On the mezzanine:
- A sleeping area with two Louis-Philippe single beds and an armchair.
Outdoor areas:
- A large garden with two sunny terraces at the front and rear of the house. These are furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue.
- Fruit trees planted around the gîtes for guests’ enjoyment
Shared outdoor facilities:
- A swimming pool (shared, unheated) measuring 8m x 4m x 1.5m, available from May to October subject to weather conditions (opening dates are subject to change).

Start by exploring the Troglos de la Sablières, which will transport you for a moment to an astonishing, artistic place steeped in history. Then, take a detour to the charming town of Doué-la-Fontaine before learning more about Loire wines by taking a tour of a vineyard and sampling the region’s finest wines!
To get a bird’s-eye view, set off on a maiden flight or a microlight tour and admire the splendid plains stretching out before you!

We had an enjoyable stay, but missed decent sitting options. The table is too high, therefore not comfortable to eat from or to work at, the chairs are even higher (and too high for the already high table). Of the two chairs that could be lowered, one was broken. This forces you to sit in the sofas which are also not very comfortable.
The bed was ok, so was the shower. Some basic equipment in the kitchen/bathroom wer missing: a small sharp knife, oven mittens, toilet roll hower, soap tray in the shower, but in the general there was a sufficient stock of pots, pans, plates and cutlery. The cutlery is low quality, though.
