About this apartment rental
A peaceful and pleasant place to stay. It is located in the heart of the historic center of Le Puy-en-Velay, right at the foot of the slopes leading up to the cathedral. The view overlooks a small garden with trees and flowers. The apartment is very close to downtown—a 2-minute walk through the small, cobblestone pedestrian streets (a legendary feature of Le Puy). The Place du Plot, the city’s most beautiful square, is located right below the apartment—the perfect spot to enjoy cafés and restaurants.

Takes some knowledge about getting around in old French towns with their little streets which are not well signed and in the case of Le Puy have a lot of hills to maneuver. So there was a learning curve the 1st couple days. And parking is a challenge. But, in the end the challenges are well worth working through.
The apartment is very nice, clean, feels fairly new. The bed is comfortable (and that is coming from my wife who is tough to please).
