About this house rental
Perched in South Hills of Missoula, relax on the large deck taking in the view across Missoula Valley. With 4 bedrooms , 2 baths, and a large rec room on the lower level, this home offers plenty of space for a family to gather or spread out. The large fenced in backyard is a great spot to take in the fresh air, enjoy the view and let the kids run around.
With smart locks we are able to offer contactless check-in. However, we make ourselves available to interact as much or little as our guests would like. We are passionate about Montana and all it has to offer and are more than happy to offer recommendations from restaurants to outdoor activities.
The south hills is a quiet neighborhood where residences meet open space in the form of old ranches and public lands. The elevation gain on Missoula’s south side is a distinguishing geographic border separating the Missoula Valley from the Bitterroot Valley. Residents of the South Hills Neighborhood have the advantage of living upon the hillside with views of both Missoula and the jagged and dramatic peaks of the Bitterroots as well. Although locals call it a hill, South Hills residents themselves are on a mountain that climbs to a good 6,000 feet at its tree topped summit. You’ll also hear the area referred to as Moose Can Gully, a name with several different interpretations behind it. Up here, there’s a definite line where residential development stops and open space begins. Historically, these hills were dedicated to the agricultural trade with excellent sunshine and moisture from a mix of weather systems colliding between the two valleys. And well before that, these hills were the shallows of Glacial Lake Missoula that created the flat valley below. Today, South Hills neighbors are happily above water, enjoying the hallmark sunshine and expansive views, as well as the convenience of having everything Missoula has to offer on the valley floor.
With smart locks we have a seamless self check-in process. We are available 24 hours a day to answer any questions or handle any issue that may arise. We are happy to interact as much or little as the guest prefers.

Uber and Lyft are abundant but there is also the local bus system the Mountainline where everyone rides for free. There is a bus stop about 3 blocks away at the intersection of 55th & Gharrett.

We also have 2017 Honda Pilot available to rent for an extra fee. Airport drop off and pick up is available if scheduled in advance

Beautiful setting, lots of deer, so quiet and comfortable. The beds were super. Great quality sleep for days chock full of activity. Everything we needed and so much space! Thank you!

Property was just as described. It was a great home base for us and was very clean and comfortable—AC. Kitchen was so well-stocked (thank you for the coffee and beverages!) and we especially enjoyed dinners on the deck and watching the deer in the backyard. Basement and bunk bed room were so fun for the kids and cousins. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the view from the deck and many deer visitors. Lots of room for our family or four. There is a pet smell that lingers as the carpets probably need to be replaced. Also, could not get the mini van into the driveway due to its low clearance. A larger SUV or pickup would not have this issue.
